Connells is by far the worst Estate agents in my opinion. I moved out of a property let and managed by them in May 2024 and I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned despite chasing them for weeks. They have no sense of urgency (not to tenants in my opinion) and don't care as long as they get their commission. Very poor customer service and I will not be encouraging anyone to doing business with them. Don't be fooled by the brand name.

I’ve not had any dealings recently with estate agents so it’s hard to rate my experience but on the whole I think they have done a good job. There were some errors in the property details but these were rectified and we were kept fully informed of visits by prospective purchasers. We have accepted an offer so are just waiting on the solicitors now.

Went on the market originally with Richard James and then Dewhurst. Never really felt comfortable. Then I contacted Nick at Connells and it was like a breath of fresh air. Could tell straightaway that he was keen to help us. Found a buyer within a week. Would have given zero stars if possible. Mum has alzheimers and they wanted me to break the chain to ensure her house sold. They were happy to.force my mum into temporary accommodation to get the house sale.Took 11 months for the move to happen through their recommend solicitors. No compassion or help during the whole process because the house purchase was not through Connells. Avoid at all costs.
