Northwood have been very efficient and professional so far in our tenancy. From the beginning of our process of looking for a flat we have felt supported. Kim was very professional and kind throughout our viewings.
During our application process northwood were transparent, contactable and organised to ensure all documentation was completed accordingly and timely.
During tenancy we have been able to get in contact as and when needed and they have been prompt in sorting maintenance issues particularly Kim and Richard.
Renting can be a stressful experience however we have felt supported throughout the whole process and start of our tenancy.

Stayed in a property managed by Northwood just for a year.
Promises were made before I moved in during the viewing stage that things would be cleaned, new electric radiators and other repairs would be done before I moved in as they were keen to get in a new tenant.
Tenancy was agreed based on promises made. However on the day I moved in, none of what had been promised had been fulfilled. I had to chase for weeks just to get new radiators as the existing were not functional. Regardless of me having two small children in the home, only me pushing them continuously got the matter resolved. I did not receive any compensation for the use of a portable electric heater which pushed up the electricity bill.
Furthermore, other issues arose in terms of plumbing I.e. leaking taps ect due to age which is fair. Again when getting in contact with the agency I had to continually chase to get the repairs completed. This disappointment was compounded when the plumber of choice completed only part of the agreed repairs they were instructed to complete.
Again I chased and chased and chased to no avail. Lastly, I also mentioned that the toilets had started leaking. I received no response on the matter until weeks later. The response I received stated that the engineer was away and when they came back from holiday they will look into the problem.
I received no further communication two months from that point and ended up paying for the repairs out of my own pocket. At that moment I choose to leave at the end of the tenancy as my children were settled and gave up on trying to help the landlord keep up with any on going maintenance.
I would not recommend this company either for renting or buying. They took advantage of the fact that I was desperate for a property at the time, and gave false promises to tie me into a contract, knowing fully well they did not aim to keep them.
Northwoods poor lack of communication, poor execution of promises and unfair charges at the end of tenancy for issues which were out of line compared to how I received the property show they are company with no integrity. These choose to charge me for issues regardless that I left the property in a better condition than I moved in.
I am in the market for buying a property now but I would never use their service going forward. Honesty is not in their vicinity.

Searching for houses for a long time first time when we visited the Northwood Highwycombe we were amazed by the service of Adam who registered us and showed us best options with milage distance to the town centre and he arranged us the first viewing and we were guided by the wonderful lady Kim she gave us the tour and explained briefly about the each and every corner of the house.we were very impressed she was well experienced professional agent and within one week time everything was arranged contracts,credit checks,payments and we moved in very fast and must mention Richard as well for guiding us with updates. service was extraordinary I really thankful for the whole team highly recommended and if I rate its 10/10

Our Moving Journey, 8 weeks ago we we told that we have to move out of our house by the 6th Nov because the land lord wanted the property back. Anyway i rang many estate agents and they did not seem bother and we were at our wits end. I rang Northwood and arrange a viewing, we met thia amazing estate agent called Kim who was salt of the earth and took us on a Journey and found us a beautiful house. Kim is a real people person and knows exactly what you want, also Richard is so nice and again they both always wanted to go the extra mile for us. Im saying if you are having trouble contact this estate agent as they are truly wonderful team.

We completed our first purchase 3 days ago, and we couldn't have asked for anything more from the team at Northwood High Wycombe. We used Northwood to sell a house in High Wycombe, it was seamless. Mark met with us and explained the process and took some lovely pictures of the house, even waiting for perfect weather to do so. Richard then took over and kept us updated often with the proceedings and before we knew it the house was sold.
Everyone at Northwood is friendly, easy going but above all professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent.

As a newcomer to the UK, Northwood was the ONLY agency who was willing to help my partner and I find a rental. We had no history and no experience with british procedure, so an agency seemed the only logical way to go, yet none would work with us, BECAUSE of our lack of experience and history. They were the only people who were willing to explain the procedure, and help us get our paperwork together and most of all put up with all the questions we had ????!
I highly recommend them especially if you’re not familiar with the system, they will treat you like a human being and offer the support you need to get started.

My wife was told by email you cannot find keys of the property based on information about income and there is no viewing available for a flat.
Next day, I present my self with bit more income customer and with different name (non-foreign) and keys are miraculously there all ready for viewing!!
You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope my review will be noticed by people who will stay away from your company and this outstanding “customer service”!
And please spare me your investigations and writings back and forwards. Really, I don’t require any other information or assistance from you!

I have let my property through Northwoods for some 10 years and have always found them exceptionally professional and attentive to all my requirements. I have always chosen their managed guaranteed contract since have do not have the time to address all the ongoing issues myself, they are continually up to date with all legislation and i am notified of my obligations. Ongoing necessary remedial works are promptly notified in conjunction with all associated costings for me to consider. I personally would not trust any one else with my property!

I made deposits for a flat to rent and explain my situation at the beginning that I am working as self employed and plz speak to landlord if he is willing to accept this and she confirmed this to me I spoke to landlord its all now about credit and reference check, I went many times to high wycome to take her required documents , after 10 days they confirmed everything is fine but landlord doesn't want to rent it to self employed, they were puting blame on colleague that she should confirm with landlord at the beginning.

Unfortunately - this estate agent does nothing to improve the image of their profession. On calling to arrange a viewing, I was made to feel as if I was wasting their time by calling in. I put that down to the agent being unaware of her unfriendly tone.
Once the viewing was booked, I called to confirm on the day before. Again, they obviously have no value for the potential buyer as I was not contacted to say the property was under offer.
No message, no call and when I challenged the agent, they just repeated that the message was left.
When is this profession going to understand that they need to add service and value to what they do? With the emergence of technology and access to so much information; it's only a matter of time before they will not be needed at all!!!

They took admin fees for the flat(250), and then declined my application.
After that they are not giving back money that I paid for the admin fees.

We were looking for a property to rent and we made an offer. We gave all the references and paid for the deposit; after a few days the agent came back to us and said that the landlord decided not to continue as the tenant changed her mind and wasn't moving anymore. Then, we organized viewings with the agent, again, but she came back to us saying all the properties were under offer. When we tried to organize viewings at other times, they weren't flexible and they gave us an horrible experience.

I'm sorry to see the other review on here, and in contrast I used Northwood to let and manage my property for 7-8 years finishing in Feb 2014. I found Mark and David to be straight talking and honest with their appraisal. Each time a tenant gave notice a new tenant was found with efficiency. I had one tenant who ran into major financial difficulties through no fault of her own and their rent guarantee scheme saved me literally thousands of pounds.

Having used Northwood I find them impersonel, arrogant and uncaring, sign up with them at you peril, they are the landlord and therefore dont care if you are an owner or tennant and are only interested in the almighty pound note, be warned
