RA Bennett dealt with the sale of my family home of over 60 years. Amelia and the team at Broadway made the whole process as smooth and uncomplicated as possible, at every stage of the sale I was kept informed and was reassured when unexpected things cropped up, on one occasion well outside of working hours! Totally professional and when things haven't gone quite according to plan (not they're fault just the way things happen in the legally weird process of buying and selling in England) they have worked through many annoying situations and legal red tape with a smile. If there was an option for 0 stars I would of done. My partner and I have been excitedly searching for our first home together and seen many properties with a lot of hope for our latest viewing with RA. However the experience we have had today was nothing short of appalling and the worst treatment from an estate agent. From arriving, we were greeted by someone who didn’t listen to our position and made a judgemental opinion based off no facts. We are not first time buyers and the patronising attitude against us was insulting.“Oh I’m so sad you like it, best and finals are on Monday, such a shame”, “maybe move in with your mum or dad until your ready to make this step”. We had waited a while for a viewing, which was hard to book in the first place as the phones are never answered. We tried to call to discuss how we felt regarding our treatment but no luck. I will not be visiting or purchasing another properly through this estate agent as I believe everyone should be treated with the same courtesy and respect as next person. This was not the case, clearly young couples looking to invest and build a home is not there demographic of clientele. Appalled.... Read more
