Although Concentric managed to sell my property rather quickly, this had more to do with me accepting about at lesst £10 000 less than market value for the house. As far as I am concerned the house sold itself. I was disappointed with the performance of Concentric in terms of slow replies, and mis - information. Ie not knowing who was supposed to be coming for a viewing. The gentleman that ended up buying my property turned up without an appointment. I once communicated that I would like some photos amended. Concentric sent an agent to the property and he took new photos with a mobile phone.
These photos weren't even uploaded to the various housing agencies such as rightmove.

All agency’s in uk are not wanted to give homes to the Indians and I don’t know what is the reason behind it we Indians especially Kerala people are more care for the houses and trying to keep our premises neat and tidy always if 1 person has done anything wrong don’t put it in action to others .this is very disgusting .and more over if child is there no one should approach this agency because ur going to loose ur time . Seriously they will not give homes and they will make some excuses very bad service .and wanted to tell more but this page is not enough for that

For now I have nothing nice to say coz heartache they giving me is too much . These are the emails I keep getting . I was to moving on 19th and they said i can’t move in coz my partner has no right to rent because he is in a different country . That was sorted. If the house was ready for me to move in on 19th ,explain to me why I am still being told I can’t move in because they are things they are still doing in the house . Today is 29th I was told I can move in on 30th and they will send me the tenancy to sign . It is 6pm and I have no update . I don’t even know if I am moving on 30th or not . Ps the moving date was changed from 28th to 30th . They are not answering my emails today either . Good luck to during my tenancy that is if I finally move in .

Only had one viewing time available for a property. No problem, I’ll just call them. Well—actually, you can’t call them ? They just text you a link to the same form. No problem, I’ll just send them an email. No reply after 5 days ! Even just a “no” would’ve sufficed. The lack of communication/inability to reach them is such a red flag. If they’re this bad at communication while I’m offering them £££, imagine how bad they’ll be as soon as I need my rental fixed due to a water leak/etc.
Every few days I would get an unwanted spam email from them (calling me ‘miss’ for some reason) asking me to sign up for the viewing. This just annoyed me even more.
Woke me up by calling me in the morning a week before the sole viewing date (which I never registered to go to) telling me it’s been agreed to a let. What a joke, lol. I feel bad for the people who actually booked time off just to attend this viewing.
Decided already that I’m never going to let with Concentric. I’m tired of letting agencies that collect rent, sign leases, and nothing else. Terrible communication, and seems like they’d leave you in a flooded house for a week before thinking of sending someone to fix a pipe.

At the end of tenancy, they don't respond to emails regarding the return of the deposit, TDS also didn't get any response from them , poor communication and poor service , not what you'd expect after renting from them for over 10 years .

A complete disgrace of an estate agents, we as a whole cul-de-sac was non stop calling up and complaining about tenants they had put into one of there property's at no 9 pagham close, regarding harrasments, threatening behaviour, and concentric estate agents done nothing about it for months, even after leaving numerous of messages asking for somone from management to call us back, they couldn't even do that. Even with the police envolved, they also said the estate agents should be doing more regarding the complaint put forward,which they never did. I will never sell or rent an house under these morons ever, and God forbid anyone who rents one out under these, asking as they get there money, the couldn't give a toss if there tenants upset naighbours or damage the property's.

Avoid like the plague. Asked for a viewing then 2 days later was told they had an offer accepted so cancelled the viewing. Im fine with this but I was told they had sent me emails and tried calling as if to pin on me that I was slow to respond. A blatant lie. The property hadn’t sold in 6 months either. Untrustworthy agency and that’s me being polite.

I have been using Concentric since 1997 to source and reference tenants for my rental properties and have always received nothing but top quality service and advice. Their regular landlord meetings are invaluable and keep me up to date with the seemingly never ending regulations.
Used them this year to sell two of my rental properties. One was sold in 3 weeks and the other was sold yesterday by Jordan and it had only been on the market for 48 hours !! What can I say incredible. Highly recommended sales and letting agent.

The latest 2 negative reviews I agree with, one being from a landlord aswell! Absolutely DISGUSTED with the level of customer service. I have dealt with 4 different advisors, over the phone and via email. They rescheduled my viewing at Hazara House Wolverhampton TWICE saying the tenant was ill and what not, and TODAY, the 19th August I was told I would get a video sent across to me even though I was told they can't send a video, funny that because the other guy told me on the phone I would get a video.
I emailed 3 times, won't mention no names, and I got ignored. Let me guess they not getting back to me because they want to quickly rent out the property, well you should get back to people when you give them viewings and say you will send them a video. 3 weeks I've been waiting!!!
I then rang today in the afternoon and spoke to TWO advisors who took down my number and said the usual 'sorry no one got back to you"
3 weeks I waited! I won't bother replying to emails after they read this email, seen as though they've ignored my emails 3 times already. No matter how busy you are GET BACK TO US AT LEAST. The other letting agents always email me back and let me know even if I have not been successful.
Forget these lot I'll go with someone else

I am a landlord and Concentric was managing our property. Now we want to terminate the management contract. We were told that there’s a termination fee, which was expected, however the termination fee appears to be 1.5 times of the monthly rent, which is basically equivalent to a year worth of management service charges which is itself 12% of the monthly rent. Concentric is not going to carry out any works around the property or any works at all, it is some admin time that will be needed. And we would understand if the termination fee would be attached to Concentric service charges. But no, it appears that they want a year worth of their charges to be paid by us now. We find it’s a rip off. Landlords, be aware what you are signing, as it seems that Concentric will want your money for every move, and termination will cost you dearly

If you’re looking to sell your house I wouldn’t recommend using these, as a buyer we had a viewing on a property on Thursday, Concentric then rang to cancel the viewing a couple of hours before as they’d double booked their agents. They then rescheduled for the Friday, having waited at the property for them to turn up for the viewing the failed to do so, we contacted them to be told someone is running late so waited another 30 minutes, we then chased again for them to tell us apparently we’d cancelled the viewing ourselves earlier that day, a company of complete liars and mavericks! If you want to sell your house definitely use a different estate agent!

This is an appaling,poorly managed business, it survives on robbing people of deposit moneys. I am working man 43,with x2 teenage children who stop with me weekends, dont drink, very private professional person, yet these degraded me numerous occassions. £1000 pound aweek wage, yet i wasnt good enough 4 a property i applied for. I would seriously gice these a thought b4 u let from them.

Avoid at all costs!!! Most unprofessional letting agency I have ever come across, I’ve had rats trapped in the vent of my cooker for over 2 months they still won’t do anything, the rats have now died and rotted and as you can imagine I can’t use half of my so called home because of it.
On top of that they let themselves In your flat without consent, I had the little Asian girl walk in top of me while I’m sleeping telling me that ‘I’m here to do a viewing’ even tho I have 6 months left on my tenancy!!! 100% agree with the other comments that they pressure you to leave good reviews but luckily I didn’t. DO NOT RENT FROM CONCENTRIC my mental heath has deteriorated since having to live in one of their properties And I do not wish the experience on anyone else.

The reason why they have so many positive reviews is because they put tenants under pressure to leave a review in the office before handing the keys over so these are focused on the letting process and not their actual service. Their 'management service' is a joke- they don't answer the phone. Run for the hills.

Having just rented a home with Concentric I liaised mostly with Marie and Lucy. They were incredibly helpful and responsive to me and supported the whole process with the utmost professionalism, they both went above and beyond for us.

Moved into a concentric managed flat last month. My first rental place and first time living off myself away from family. Zoya was brilliant with communication through the process over taking over the tenancy. Some things are taking longer to get done with the current circumstances and the agent managing the property now is lacking a little with communication, it will take her days to reply to emails. So far pretty good though and the flat is nice, still needs a little work but very nice so far, can only get better.

Vikramjit Sandhu has been very polite and respectful when I was l leaving my flat. During the process he made sure viewings/times were alright with me and if I needed to make adjustments it would be alright, due to the regular updates.
Moving in was also simple and straight forward with Concentric at the time and any issues with the flat they assisted with when it came to contacting my landlord. Luckily my landlord didn't hesitate so issues with the flat when I first moved got resolved pretty fast with the quick communication.

Moved us into a property at Tettenhall Gate with a fridge that wasn't working, electric heaters that were not working and one that was dangerously hanging off the wall. The wardrobe is dangerous. The flat was filthy but their inventory stated that it was clean. In fact, there was very little in their inventory that reflected the actual condition of the flat. Luckily took lots of pictures and corrected their false inventory as this would be an issue when getting the deposit back.
Concentric also refused to have the flat cleaned to a habitable standard. Had to report them to Wolverhampton Council after countless emails to get a working fridge and heating. Only after the council got involved did we get these basic things.
The management 'team' (Tina and Trudi) are appalling. They are obstructive and don't uphold their side of the contract. You will end up dealing with multiple people at 2 different sites who don't talk to each other. They operate on a system of trying to wear you down so that you give up trying to get issues resolved.
Concentric are clueless about their own contract regarding the notice period. They shamelessly breach their contractual obligations whilst bullying you into adhering to their demands, even when it's not in the contract. They pick and choose parts of the contract that suit them.
Save yourself a lot stress and rent from a professional company.
Anyone having issues with Concentric should take all courses of action open to them, including reporting them to The Council, Trading Standards, The Property Ombudsman and Property Mark.

Appalling service. My fiance and I are currently renting a flat managed by concentric. Our email contact was no help when we had no hot water for four weeks this summer (yes during the pandemic) and then no functioning washing machine for an additional four weeks after that (whilst I was working in a school during the pandemic). In addition, the doorbell and intercom system to the building has been completely broken for almost two years now. Damp and mould is a constant ongoing issue and keeping on top of correspondence concerning this is a full time job in itself.
Our last email from our contact was them saying that they had forwarded on an email of ours to the landlord without our consent. This is after we had been told in no uncertain terms that we should go to concentric with any property issues and not to the contractor or landlord directly. The contractor and landlord were both told the same thing. Since then I have had no contact at all from concentric. I have been emailing our specified contact and had no response. I have been including the general contact email for concentric and have recieved no response, with the exception of automatic out-of-hours email responses.
In conclusion, I am on every review site I can find. I sit here in my damp infested flat that is making me physically ill and await responses to emails that will likely never come.
If you are here for a recommendation, I have one. Run fast. Run far.

Appalling company, don't touch them with a bargepole. They use 'handymen' and pass them off as proper tradesmen with extortionate costs. They installed a new boiler which was later condemned as they didn't seal the flue. They also used a second hand lock for a door repair and charged me £325 for a new one plus £65 per hour x 3 hours costs for the handyman posing as a locksmith. Absolutely extortion. They also charged me a whole year's agency fees for terminating their contract which was over £1200. Beware at your peril, you will pay for it.....

I had an appointment with this agency which they confirmed the viewing the day before with a text. And I drove 2 hours to the property I was booked to view. I arrived there 20min earlier to not miss my appointment and 15min before the Time of the appointment, I received a call from the agency saying they have cancelled my appointment. If you see another talk by Concentric advertised anywhere, then go. You will find it very informative. i went to my first event this month at Novotel and learned a lot of up to date regs on lettings. If you can not go, check out their many video talks on You Tube, very informative.

I went to their Landlord seminar a few days back and must admit that it has been one of most educational seminars, I have attended.
To give out so much information to landlords without charging a penny is admirable.
The knowledge that the staff has, namely Dawn Bennett and Ali Durrant, about the property market,
legislation Sales & lettings was extraordinary.
There's no doubt that I will be using this Agency, one I acquire properties in and around Wolverhampton.

This company has proven to be highly incompetent when dealing with queries and problems when I was a tennant for one of their properties earlier this year. Issues such as no curtains, mold covered shower rooms, non-functioning boilers, flooded fridges and exploding kitchen lights were often deflected by the management as either the landlord's responsibility or not an emergency. Many of these problems wouldn't be fixed for months or not at all in some cases. They didn't even tell me about having a guarantor, wanting me pay my entire 6 months rent up front until Preet (one of the only helpful workers there) stepped in to assist me.
6 months under the roof of a concentric property has been like an extended stay at Fawlty Towers only with the manager across town and delaying to fix anything.

Rating this company a 1 star is generous from beginning to end From booking a viewing to collecting our keys it’s been a shambles trying to get a viewing was like an military mission I dealt with Tina whos professionalism is non existent she never calls back or is either out of the office when you try to call for updates we were passed from person to person so dealt with Lucy who was about the best person the company has to offer never again will I rent from this company!!!!!

Has a property viewing with this company, I turned up and no-one was there. I called them to ask how long they will be and I was informed the viewing had been cancelled and the house was gone! No one left me a message, voicemail or email! And after viewing the other reviews on here, I'm quite glad!!

NEVER RENT WITH THESE PEOPLE. Twice they let someone into the property without giving any notice whatsoever. Don't know how often this has happened when none of us were in. They let themselves in with keys. That's against the law (Landlord and Tenant Act 1985). They were incredibly unprofessional at all times. They will no doubt try to say I was a problem tenant after the fact, but you are allowed to ask them to comply with the law and the contract you signed.
We had a broken fridge for over 2 months before they got a new one and plonked it in the living room. Shower had and still has mould, they don't care. They were trying to show the property to sell without giving any notice to us tenants still living in the property.
Staff have no idea about tenancy law but will argue about it with you anyway. Know your rights. Don't give them your money. They will never fix your property and make you feel terrible for pointing out how often they break the law. AVOID

Went to their recent Property Seminar and was very informative.
In these days of ever changing legislation for landlords you need to be able to rely on your lettings agency who are up to date in order to prevent potential fines or being sued by tenants. Concentric are such an Agency that are up there with the best.

My experience was really bad, this is a bad agency, I told them what I wanted about moving in and instead, I was delayed for some useless reason, I was also told that the deposit is refundable and just because of the poor management which made me lose interest in the house, I asked for my refund and was later told that the money is not refundable, why? and was not given any genuine reason. This letting is the worst one have ever seen, poor approach, staffs and being unable to stand in their words. THIEFS.

Disgusting letting agency stay away from these and dont waste your time with them.
me and my partner booked a viewing we arrived and there was another couple waiting outside with their child that also travelled miles to see the viewing. The agent did not turn up we waited nearly a hour and their office number was ringing out they did not contact either one of us to explain why no one had turned up.
The most disgusting service I have ever recieved from a letting company stay away from them.
If I could give them zero star I would so unprofessional

Awful. Questioning whether this business is a front for laundering drug money because that would explain the lack of professional respect and the ignorant failure this service supplies. I would not advise to rent from them nor allow them to manage for a landlord. They are however excellent at giving greedy councils a hand at destroying the standard of living in struggling cities. Wish I had never let the property in the first place. Over all they succeed in leaving a bad taste in the form of extortionate fees that in other parts of this country are illegal for a reason. The only consistency they offer is regular gas and electricity checks. All other aspects of the safety of a property are not only ignored but will leave you paying for issues that were present well before you ever move in. The money gained from such a con does not go into the property after tenancy has closed. Thus, if -5 was an option it would be the only honest thing about this farce called Concentric lettings.

Worst estate agents I've ever dealt with. Called repeatedly to book an appointment for a viewing. I was told somebody will call me back and nobody ever did. The lady I spoke with was extremely rude and should be sent on a customer service course. When will there be a market place to deal directly with the vendor to cut out these people as they offer no value whatsoever. These people are pushing us towards a Peer to Peer housing market.

Not serious people they made me loose. Almost 2 weeks before i rented the proprety . Every time i called. Someone alse was answerring the phone giving me. Different informations. And irelevand to what i needed to know . Never recieved the tennancy guide that should be given at the aplication day thru email until i rented the proprety after 2 weeks .
Fees are quite high and you dont ghet any information they just insisted for me to pay pay and. My qwestions where answered quick and asked again to pay even if i had some more questions . I DONT ADVISE TO GO THERE IF YOU NEED TO MOVE QUICK THEY WILL MAKE YOU LOOSE LOADS OF TIME MORE THAN 10 DAYS . GOOD LUCK

Do not touch this agency with a barge pole!! Completely inefficient. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I had to ask for information many times. Too many people dealing with different aspects of the management. Extremely poor communication between them and the tenant and myself. They seem to ignore emails and don't follow instructions. Waste of space.

Where do I start, placed a deposit on a property. They cancelled the viewing 5 times telling us tenants had not vacated. We discovered tennants had vacated and we were then bundled with other excuses. As we had lost our patience with them we asked for a refund on the funds paid. After being assured the refund would be back in the account within ten days we left somewhat satisfied we could go to a real estate agents.
Ten days later, no funds in account. Called the office back, only to be told the funds had been signed off by a director on that day but would be in within the next three working days.
Skip forward another week, still no refund. No answers apart from I can’t contact the director and can give you no answers.
Have read some reviews about this agency which back up my experience. Now taking authoritative measures to ensure this company do not treat any other person this way.
Disgusting, badly ran and disgraceful letting agents, avoid at all costs. Will make the stress of moving even worse.

I wouldn’t recommend this company. I had 2 properties let through them & have took one off them & the other will be gone in 3 months. They have no customer service, they will argue you. They forget who is the customer, and pays the fees every month. Find a nice small, letting agent who will give you the personal touch.

This company put a letter through my door offering a tenant who wants to rent a property in my area for £1100 per calandra month. The letter sounded very dodgy, and with my suspicious Police mind, I had a feeling something was wrong. Having read these disgraceful reviews, I will not be engaging them for any of my properties.

I would two stars due to prompt and polite service, if it weren't for the fact that I paid the security fee (holding deposit) to reserve a property, however less than a week later I was informed that the property had been let with no regard to the security fee I paid to hold the property. I would advise people not to go with this company due to the dishonest nature they conduct their business. I will not be using them again given the choice.
