My smoothest purchase yet was through this branch , Ross and Abby are amazing at what they do , they are so attentive and on the ball and no question is too much , when they say they will do things they do them and they actively do their upmost to get the sale pushed through which is paramount when finding a good estate agency branch as it works in everyone’s favour to get the purchase done with as little hiccups as possible. Whether selling or buying these guys are the ones to go to . Also a big shout out to branch manger Glenn for getting stuck in when needed to help get the sale over the line . Big thumbs up and will be going back again to give them repeat business .

Undoubtedly the worst estate agent I've encountered. They don't carry out the vendors instructions, pass on messages when you request they do and fail to pass on feedback unless you request it. I was promised an update to advertisement photographs after internal and external improvements were undertaken, it took them a month to do so. The staff are simply uninterested and unfriendly, especially if a property in on the market for an unexpectedly long time. They make you feel as if you're a burden to them when in fact, they haven't done a great service at all.

Put the house on the market early November 22 , and Lynsey said at the time of the viewing , she would have it sold within 3 days , she did it 2! We accepted the offer straightaway , and thought it would be easy from there. It took another 10 months till 11th Sept to actaully get the deal sorted. If it hadnt been for Ross , this would have fallen apart. The effort all the staff at Consett provided was exceptional , especially dealing with the regualr updates , helping and advising , closing down of the sale , providing admin duties and contract signatories and arranging distribution of contracts to all concerned. Thanks again for everything

Waited a month to view a house, called repeatedly to find out about viewings and was told I would be contacted when they were being done by the landlord. Phoned today to find viewings were done without me being notified and applications are now closed with the landlord, and now I am unable to even apply for it, due to base level incompetence.
Genuinely appalling customer service. Have had someone shouting down the phone at me this morning, rude and unpleasant attitude from all the staff I've encountered so far. Really dire. In sure they are nice when you're selling your house and there's a fat commission in it for them but if you're looking to rent why waste your time being pleasant to someone when there's another 20 just like you.

Nothing is a trouble for these guys, although they certainly follow all real estates regulations they still can manage to costumes your own preference *if any. Speaking from my experience from all possible local real estate agents ( sold several properties), I wouldn’t recommend any of them but Reeds.

I can not commend Reeds Rains enough for the service they have provided in the sale of my property.
My sale was a bit more complex than some as I no longer live in the area and the property was in the hands of a letting agent.
From my first contact , till completion of my sale they have been committed, sympathetic, very proactive, approachable and very friendly. We hit quite a few problems along the way but they were all determined to do the best job possible. They went above and beyond their job descriptions in order to help me and for that I am forever grateful.

From the first day we met Lyndsay,to the final completion day( finally getting to meet Louise????….and not forgetting Jane,this team is amazing. We would give them 10 stars if we could. The most helpful I have ever come across,especially during a very stressful time,with some very difficult hurdles( and people!) to overcome. I rented through Reeds Rains Consett and whenever I visited the branch I found the staff very welcoming and friendly. It was a great experience from the initial viewing to ultimately signing for one of their beautiful rentals (and there were plenty to choose from that fit my criteria). Due to a relocation I ended my tenancy with them and still found the experience very pleasant and efficient. Could not recommend them enough and if I needed to rent in the Consett area again my first port of call would be to see Lyndsay and her team!
