Led by NIcola-Jane, who clearly has huge experience and knowledge of the market, the clients and the process of buying and selling property, and with enthusiastic, friendly and professional support from Louise and Sam, I really felt the whole team were doing everything they could for me to take me through the journey painlessly. In particular, the constant stream of communication left me knowing that they were working on my case, working closely with each other and that they cared. I also like how much I felt like they were on my side to get me as much out of the transaction as possible - what was impressive is that I always felt like they were somehow helping both buyer and seller in the same way!? Reeds Rains have fairly extensive UK network and national processes in which even their digital bits seem to work correctly and smoothly as well; but we dealt with their Eccleshall, Stafforshire branch, and it's here that out star rating goes from 3 up to 5!! -----
Like in lots of real businesses , it's in the quality, attitude, and competences of the people that excellence most obviously leaves the 'only average' miles behind. -----calm, almost urbane young 'Sales-Sam'' first met/handled us professionally at the property; then super-serious Louise gave the virtuoso demonstrations of knowledge, and efficiency in the admin, legals, and services crisis solutions!!
Definitely 11 out of 10, and even found her warm, and with nice sense of humour as we got to know each other a little better; not a disinterested android lady at all!
Thanks for your help; and yes the two old buzzards have managed to hit the ground, maybe few feathers lighter, and not with elegance of two young eagles, but definitely just stirred , not shaken by the experience of first move after thirty years rooted in one spot!!

Fantastic friendly and professional service. We made a move from Plymouth to Stafford looking for a stop gap rental after selling our house. We were struggling to find something suitable due to the high demand of rentals in the area and with us 200 miles away kept missing out. Nicola-Jane rang us back within ten minutes of us making an enquiry on a Friday evening and arranged for our viewing virtually the next morning using my parents. Louise took care of the tenancy and other paperwork, letting us know she would call and answered any enquiries. We had completion on the Friday, picked up the keys to our Apartment on the Saturday and on the Monday it was let! Louise was a great help guiding us through the whole process (as first time Landlords we really appreciated this). Niccola Jane went above and beyond to help with some problems with the Council Tax and to assist me in my quest to challenge the Band Rating of the property. Very impressive.

Although I did not eventually buy through Reed Rains I did enquire about 2 of the properties they had for sale and viewed one of them . I found the agent / manager Jack very helpful and informative. I didn't feel pressured or rushed in any way and was able to discuss aspects of the houses with him. As I have searched for my new property I have unfortunately not found all estate agents as professional or engaging. Some have been completely disinterested, others far too pushy. However this was not the case here. Recommended

If its normal to have to chase time and time again to get simple queries answered then yes service is OK.
If waiting 2 weeks for a response initiated by Reeds Rains that was promised in a couple of days then again yes service is ..... even though the reply never actually came through.
Out of office notifications not used by managerial staff yet holiday and time off excuses used.
Initial database extracts are not qualified when they are flashed in front of you as a "this is what our national database holds" once qualified 22 hot to trot becomes 1.
HUGE kickbacks given to the offices if you use their recommended law firms etc - check the fine print, all above board but higher than average amounts.
Unfortunately having James in the business doesn't make up for the other back office failings

I have had several dealings with reeds rains as my mother bought a property with them and then I have since rented a commercial property in eccleshall through them. I have always found the staff to be very helpful and extremely professional with any queries or problems that I may have had although I must say most of my dealings have been with Nicola Jane the manageress.
My daughter has since left home and also rented through reeds rains on my recommendation after having issues with other agencies, this is why I give them all a massive five star rating, hope they keep up the good work ????
