I worked with Tom Prince throughout the sale of my property. He was incredibly patient, friendly and couldn't do enough to help.
No task was to small and he was definitely the backbone of the entire process, chasing solicitors each step of the way and being my main communication throughout.

My experience with Ryder and Dutton Estate Agents has been extremely disappointing from the very start. I enquired about a property, and Instead of receiving prompt and professional service, I was immediately asked to provide proof of funds before even being allowed to book a viewing. This was quite unusual, but I complied and sent the requested information right away.
Despite my prompt response, I did not receive a call back. After 30 minutes of waiting, I called the branch again, only to be routed to a contact center where I was assured that a message would be passed along to the agent. Unfortunately, the promised follow-up never happened.
The next day, I tried to contact the branch again, but ended up speaking to the contact center once more. They left another message, but yet again, I received no response. This lack of communication and follow-through is completely unacceptable.
As a professional investor, I have dealt with many estate agents, but this level of poor service is unprecedented. Not only was I questioned about my funds before even seeing the property, but the agent also failed to follow through on arranging a viewing as promised.
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service provided by Ryder and Dutton and would not recommend them to anyone. Their unprofessionalism and lack of customer care have made this experience a complete waste of my time.

Rang to enquire about a new local development via the developers, heard nothing, couldn't get hold of them. Several weeks later got a call from Ryder & Dutton in Rochdale, missed the call and returned the call to them explaining I was looking to enquire about a development. Awful attitude from the lady on the phone, (Lauren?) not helpful at all. "You do know you have to sell your property first" but the properties won't be built for 6 months!! All I wanted was a viewing. She didn't know if the developer would part-ex (but gave her opinion of probably not) despite insisting my current property be sold first, couldn't give me a date that I could have a viewing, would get back to me (maybe) at some undetermined date in the future. Said some of the plots were already sold (no idea how, can't even get hold of them). Tried arranging a visit with a financial advisor despite me already having finances in place, got shirty when I said that it had taken a long time to get back to me and that I didn't need these services. So unprofessional. Spoke to several other local developers who were very easy to deal with in complete contrast.

Well, where do I start? If I could leave no stars at all that would suit us better! From the start of our purchasing journey it has been a shambles! By the way, we are 6 months into our purchase, with no chain. We were supposed to complete yesterday...but down to the staff abilities at Rochdale it did not complete. We have had no updates, no returned phone calls as promised. The office is run by staff with little customer service skills, bad manners and a basic lack of interest. We had removal vans waiting all day yesterday and workmen on hand for this weekend, i had arranged for furniture to be delivered to our new property for today. All had to be cancelled and obviously quids out of pocket. Its back on hold yet again. If the sale does not complete by tuesday we have decided to pull out of the purchase. I will update if and when we eventually get through to actually purchasing this property. What a waste of 6 months!! Stay away from this company is my advice

My son has just completed the purchase of his first house for whom the agent was Ryder and Dutton. The service we received from Sophia Bowers was first class. Whilst acting for the seller she was still more than willing to offer us advice and guidance including acting as an extremely effective liasion with the other party which was needed at times from our point of view. Sophia also realised my son had difficulty being contacted in work so was accepting to contact myself when required which was appreciated.
I cannot thank Sophia enough for her help including arranging return viewings at different stages.

I am please to say that Nida at Ryder Dutton, Rochdale was a pleasure to work with when selling my house. Every Friday I would get a call with an update. Over the 4 months we developed a good professional friendship. Every step was explained and was transparent. Nida showed initiative when getting me the best offer. She recommended the person in the best position when deciding which offer to accept. She offered her guidance at times when I was unsure and without her I would NOT have had the confidence to sell at the amazing price which Nida negotiated for me. I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! The cost of running an empty house was slowly chipping away at me. Thanks to Nida it was handled swiftly thus releasing me from my financial commitments. Excellent estate agents. Brilliant from start to finish. Kris visited us and carried out a valuation and took time to do the majority of the viewings. This was great. Ryder and Dutton arranged for the photographs of the house which were fantastic. Ryder and Dutton provided us with a personal officer and link to an account which enabled us to track progress. A special mention goes to Lauren Coombes (our personal officer) who was extremely helpful and when required chased and investigated to achieve the required results. When Lauren was unavailable she ALWAYS emailed back, I was never left waiting for a response. Another colleague which requires a mention was Aaron Broome who on the day of exchange took on the mantel in Laurens Absence and was able to finalise the exchange via the various solicitors when it was looking as if there was to be a delay (due to solicitors). I would definitely recommend Ryder and Dutton, there is only one word and that is perfect. A real pleasure to deal with and worth every penny.

I invited Kris Street to value a house for me as well as two other local agents, their valuations were £110,000, offers over £110,000 and Kris valued it at £125,000.
The house sold within the first week, I accepted an offer of £120,000. As you can imagine I am more than satisfied with the excellent advice and service Kris provided and his expertise when showing the 30+ interested clients around the house.

This is the first property that me and my partner have bought, we wasnt sure how the whole process worked but when we was speaking to Aaron Broome at the viewing he explained how the whole process worked and broke it all down for us.
He set us up with the mortgage advisors who where amazing and throughout this whole process Aaron has been there keeping us updated and pestering the solicitors for us.
Definitely a great person to conduct business with and would highly recommend anyone to use him or even get in touch with him if you are struggling on figuring out how the whole buying a house process works.
We would definitely buy a property through ryder and dutton again.

So I messaged ryder and dutton not knowing if they could help me. Me and my family was being threatened with homelessness. So I explained this is to Hannah Kelly and she said fill out the forms and see what she could do. Really disappointing with the lack of communication following an official offer made on a property. I sent several emails and also provided proof of funds, but the same generic email was sent that "we are waiting for the vendor to respond". Fast forward 3 months of playing ping pong over email for an update on our offer, we drove past and the house is sold.

Initially Amy Hadfield dealt with the sale.
From the beginning my brother and I were very impressed with the professionalism and the friendly service we received from Amy. She kept us up-to-date with the progess of the sale, which was very lengthy due to the circumstances of the buyers
She was quick to respond to any queries we had , and although the sale was protracted, she regularly remained in contact . Helen Burston took over the sale in the final few weeks after Amy left the Mossley branch to move to Rochdale.
Helen again was very friendly and professional .
Our sale finally completed this week , much to the relief ourselves and the buyers.
