I cannot praise this estate agents highly enough, they deserve a gold medal let alone 5 stars! Holly made a good first impression assessing the house and arranging the paperwork and promo information on the website. The quality of the photos taken was excellent and the sales tracker to understand where the sale is up to is helpful. Jack arranged the viewings and is a very polite and courteous young man. Once your house is sold Janet takes you through the next stage of the process. She is the most professional and effective communicator keeping everyone in the loop up to date on progress. I am so glad I chose them to handle my sale and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had a long and stressful experience during my house move with my solicitor with one problem after another but Janet at Ryder & Dutton has been extremely helpful and friendly throughout the whole ordeal. Several times a week she would update me, see if things were okay, chase people on my behalf when I was at work, and generally try to make things easier. I was also able to ring up when needed and get a fast response. I would highly recommend their services if you're looking for professional help when moving homes.

The initial valuation was more than I expected and the information presented to me was far more comprehensive than other agents in the area. The house sold quickly and for a greater price than I expected. The viewings were handled in a sensible way so my personal life wasn't distrupted. As the sale progressed, Janet handled everything with such an eye for detail, and went above and beyond to ensure that the sale progressed as smoothly and quickly as possible. Janet talked us through the entire process and explained what was happening and when we were getting nervous Janet helped us to move forward and explained there was nothing to worry about. I can’t recommend them all highly enough.

Jess is very professional, but also very friendly and easily approachable. We contacted each other throughout the majority of the process at least weekly turning more to daily and even several times a day towards the later stages. In my opinion she was the 'unsung hero' thoughout the whole process, often going out of her way to see the whole thing work. I would recommend Jess' service to anyone.

I would highly recommend Ryder and Dutton. Their fees were very competitive , and they were always proactive and helpful during the marketing and sale. Ours was an unusual house and they took a very realistic and sensible approach to the value and marketing of the property. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They constantly reviewed the situation and kept us appraised and updated at all times. Nearing to completion there were a couple of small hiccups further down the chain - Janet worked hard to resolve these and keep everyone in the chain updated through daily phone calls to the various solicitors and other estate agents involved. I would not hesitate to use Ryder and Dutton again.

TLDR: Do not use unless there is no other option.
Worst experience I have ever had with any estate agency. I had a viewing arranged, nobody called me to say that property has already been rented I only found out when I called to say I will be late. I was then told that if the property comes back on the market I will be contacted. Week after I found the property to be available again but I was not contacted so I called the agency myself and arranged a viewing. After that I said I'd like to rent that place but would like to ask before if landlord is ok to put the missing fence in. I heard nothing back and 2 weeks after that I get an email 'I think you would be interested in this property' with a link to the property I have already viewed. To top it up I have also tried to help my mum rent a place via Ryder and Dutton and we visited the branch in Bacup. Lady that was helping us could not spell my email even tho I have spelled it out 3 times and instead of giving us information about property we were interested in she asked what are we looking for and in what price range (we said straight away which property we have come here about). It's horrible, you have a name to keep and the performace I have seen on all the occasions was less than poor.
