This agent was scrupulous in his endeavours to find me an excellent tenant who was the perfect match for my property. He kept me well informed at every step of the process and explained everything he was doing which reassured me. I definitely felt that I could not get a better service and his fees were very reasonable. He was also very good with the tenant and made sure that her installation was easy and trouble free with his attention to detail ensuring that the paperwork was first class. This agency totally wasted my time. I called to arrange a viewing on a flat two days ago, was told they can only carry out viewings on that particular flat between 10am-11am every morning as their office is based in South London, so I scheduled it with work that I can go view this property this morning 11am, the man on the phone told me to call back in case anything changes but otherwise he confirmed over the phone that the viewing is set for this morning. On arriving to the property today, I called the agency and the man on the phone was quite rude and unprofessional, speaking over me almost the whole time. He said the property had already been let and told me it is impossible anyone arranged a viewing for it, as if I would purposely waste my time. He did not believe me, told me it's not their fault I went to the property despite not receiving an email confirmation, but it was confirmed over the phone, and why had no one contacted me to let me know this property is no longer available. Rather than disrupting my work and me driving from East london, for no reason whatsoever. This could have been easily resolved but the manner I was spoken to on the phone, when I was already frustrated, means I would never use this agency again.... Read more

Oh my god. I cannot believe mr. Chidi tried to flag my review as fake. This is next level. Anyway it is not going to be removed by Google as it is not a fake one, instead probably most of his positive reviews are fake ones from friends and family members I presume. Very disappointed. You can check his agency rating on allagents com for example where you have to prove that you had service from the company and they got only 3 out of 5 stars. Hope he becomes better person in future.... Read more

Absolutely terrible experience, that guy I`ve been talking to, not sure about his name, I wouldn`t even call that character a MR, rude, arrogant, unable to greet or to introduce himself and talking down like he is the Almighty God. During the phone call, this unprofessional character, was only interested about my income, sarcastically criticising any detail I gave. Avoid at all cost, these so called negotiators supposed to be there to help you, unfortunately they`ve forgot their place, and all they care is the profit, a tenant is just a necessary bad thing for them.... I would give 0 star if i could. Really unprofessional, dismissive email sent to us in reply at an offer made, 0 professionality, when i replied at that email stating the way he/she replied was not professional and could have been more explanatory and less rude i receive 0 reply. Absolutely shocked by their customer service but now reading their reviews their attitude is quite self-explanatory. Also when arrived at their office, i got told my mask have to be on top of my nose while the woman who open the door didnt have the mask at all, and the man there neither, saying we are entering their bubble so we need to wear masks properly but apparently they dont?? After this discussione the woman wore it and the man only wore it when leaving the office to show us the house. Professionality is another thing.... Read more

Having interviewed 5 other agencies in Oct/Nov 2018, I was very glad to have Samanthajane (SJL)'s Chidi Duru manage my property. Chidi came highly recommended by another landlord pal of mine. he fully appraised the property and listened to my needs, he has been very forthright and professional. WORST customer service EVER. This man hung up the phone on me twice and the first thing he spoke about was prove you can afford the property or you cannot view. This is no exaggeration, he refused to give me his name and said it quickly (Duru) and literally spoke over me. A client who is looking to make him money. I can't believe he is the managing director of this company. SHOCKING! I never leave bad reviews but the way in which I was handled made me leave this because I suggest you find an agency which is professional enough to at least have a decent conversation with you rather that say, can you afford it and prove it as his opening statement. Disgusting that this is the example the director is giving. Horrible. I wish there was a complaints procedure. STAY AWAY guys it is so shocking I had to laugh with frustration. - Also, in regards to your response below, my calls are also recorded and anyone with interest is more than welcome to listen to the recording. Can you please share this recording with myself via e-mail since you are so adamant that I abused you which 100% is not the case. Also, just an FYI I have properties and can assure you that I will genuinely be buying one and definitely not from you. You are the only one with a loss here as you did not want to conversate with me regarding a few questions I had before going into speculating if I could buy it. All reading this, I work with clients everyday and this person is not genuine and lied about the conversation, I have nothing to lose here so please ask him for the recording and you will see for yourself who the abuser was HAH! Also, by threat he means that I asked him for his complaints procedure to which he hung up, hilarious. His response alone shows you a great deal. He could not care less that he has really pushed someone like me who never leaves bad reviews to do this. Chid is rude and unprofessional. For the first time I called him I lost the signal when I called him back he said if I don’t have money to pay the phone bills how am supposed to pay the rent. When I explained to him what happened he didn’t even apologize for his action. I give him a benefit of doubt I ended up living in the property he managed anyways. I had rented a flat in Woolwich area from Samanthajane. From the very beginning of our transaction related to tenancy Mr. Chidi had been very professional and clear in sharing all the details. Discovered some minor issues with plumbing etc after moving into the flat, and these were addressed promptly, in a satisfactory way. Even received a new washer/dryer within 2 days of reporting a drainage issue with the older one. Very impressed with the way Chidi and the agency handled all the issues and concerns during my tenancy. I have now moved from the property as the term has ended and I am happy with the deposit settlement. Highly recommended, would love to rent with them in future, if I go looking for another one.... Professional and trustworthy! Unlike a lot of agents out there, I found this one to offer efficient service, and honest advice with my difficult housing situation. They always respond to emails and calls immediately and in a professional manner. Very Good service and friendly staff. I bought a property through Samantha Jane 3 years ago and since, they have managed my property. The service is 5 star and I never need to worry about the property or letting issues because they do that for me...I can never say the same for the well known agencies as they are only for your money and no heart. I highly recommend this company anytime and simply said, i would never had risked and rented my house to anyone from my experience but the company Samantha Jane gave me the confidence to do that again....
