Genuinely we could not have asked for a better service than The Property Centre had given us. We had worked with two Cheltenham/tewkesbury estate agents who we had lots of issues with and sales that fell through.
The property centre from the start were brilliant and couldn't ask for anything more. They were realistic with their valuation, heard all our concerns and their communication was second to none. They would give updates every week without me chasing, even if there wasn't much to say. They dealt with prospective buyers perfectly, really understanding their position and vetting to see if they were the right buyer.
We haven't had a straight forward sale after accepting the offer but Oliver has been chasing our chain throughout to ensure everything ran as smooth as possible.
Without the property centre I don't think we would be able to sell our property.

From the moment I walked into The Property Centre's office I was really impressed with their service. All the staff were attentive to me, very professional and keen to sell my property. It has been a protracted sale (due to factors outside their control) but they have remained positive, keen, and maintained great communication with me. I sometimes feel that I must be the only person on their books because of the level of attention they gave to selling my property. SELLERS.. avoid OLIVER DAVIS in this company. I regret to inform you about a disappointing experience I had with one of your representatives, OLIVER. It appears that sellers should avoid dealing with Oliver, given the lackluster service I received. When I expressed interest in viewing a property, Oliver refused to accommodate my request, citing my previous viewings without any purchases.
It is deeply concerning that an Estate Agent would make such a judgment WITHOUT CONSULTING the client. The insinuation that I should part with my hard-earned money for properties that do not meet my criteria is not only unreasonable but also unprofessional. As a client, I expect to be treated with respect and to have my preferences considered.
This experience has left a NEGATIVE IMPRESSION, and I hope necessary actions will be taken to address this issue.
UPDATES AFTER MY INITAL FEEDBACK HERE:
While I initially refrained from writing about this matter, your audacity to respond compels me to make the situation clear.
After I posted my initial feedback, OLIVER contacted me from a PRIVATE no. and HARASSED me about my reviews!!! This raises a significant concern: does GDPR permit the use of business databases to harass individuals when no business transaction is taking place?
Oliver made FALSE allegations during the call, claiming that we didn't provide a Decision in Principle (DIP), didn't show bank balances, and didn't turn up for appointments. I challenged these accusations, asking for evidence, as they are entirely untrue. If your agent fails to show up or arrives late, it is unreasonable to expect clients to wait indefinitely, especially those with other commitments like children. In the professional world, respecting others' time means informing them of delays or cancellations in advance. We expected the same courtesy.
If you were truly PROFESSIONAL, you would not have called from a PRIVATE no.. Instead, you would have APOLOGISED for the misunderstanding and asked for the necessary documents to proceed with the viewing. However, your ARROGANCE and ego overshadowed your professionalism, and you decided not to show the property we were keen on, which raises questions about your CONTRACT with the SELLER. Personally....We would not want to work with such an ESTATE AGENT.
It seems you had nothing better to do than to HARASS me from a PRIVATE no.. Please remember that other people have businesses to run, especially when you have already decided not to continue business with them. Hence why I HAD TO CUT his call!!!

Oliver and team were excellent, with great communication throughout our house sale and a great balance between meeting our needs and getting the house sold! They were always at least 5 minutes early for holding viewings which is great from the viewers perspective (most other estate agents in Cheltenham seemed to leave us waiting for viewings!) and meant I was always confident prospective viewers would have a good first impression.

PC kept me informed on a regular basis and were always able to answer any questions that they had not already accounted for, I say that because I was well informed throughout the process and most questions had already been accounted for in regular communication. I had already had a good experience with The Property Centre staff when viewing properties with them at the time I bought my home.
When it came to putting my house on the market, I had them on my shortlist of estate agents to sound out and Barney at the Cheltenham office was really helpful in talking me through the way sales work, and what to look out for etc.
Once I had decided to go ahead with them, I received a very professional and friendly service from Barney and other members of staff throughout the period of creating high quality marketing media, viewings, offers and leading up to exchange of contacts.
Rachel at the Cheltenham office, followed by Ocoee at head office were really on the ball and did a great job of keeping me up to date with the progress of the sale.
Oliver did a great job of chasing the solicitors involved when the decision about exchange of contacts and completion dates kept getting delayed.
In general, the team were always quick to respond when I asked for advice or information, and if a team member I had been dealing with wasn’t available, their colleague was always able to quickly respond and know what was going on with my sale.
In summary, I have been very happy with the service offered by The Property Centre and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone selling a house in the Cheltenham area.

I used Property Centre to purchase a house. Barney the estate agent advised us that the seller was not in a chain but when it came to the day of completion, we found we were unable to move at the agreed time because there were some delays with the property that the seller was purchasing.
Also, Property Centre recommended that we used Dee & Griffin solicitors because they'd be able to get things moved along quicker as they had a good relationship with them but when I called Property Centre they would not assist at all despite them earning a £210 referral fee.
Personally I wouldn't trust Property Centre as they seem to only be interested in getting their commission and don't care about how they earn it.
EDIT: I have since spoken with Dee & Griffin solicitors and they have confirmed that they incorrectly advised me that they would be paying a referral to the Property Centre but given that I had to endure a 20 minute unprofessional phone call from Oli almost immediately after leaving this review who asked me for irrelevant information such as my company name so I won't be withdrawing my review as my point still remains:
You should not deceive prospective buyers and you should always try to be helpful and professional at all times. Just because someone isn't your client or paying you, doesn't mean you can't still be polite and helpful.
You are precisely the sort of Estate Agent that gives Estate Agents a bad name. If you were honest and transparent then perhaps I would have considered using you to sell my house.

My experience at the Property Centre Cheltenham was shocking. Under no circumstances do not use them. They sell themselves as being better than any other agent in Cheltenham. Not true they are the worst. I will explain.
I received a call from Barney saying that he had received an unusual request for a young couple to view my property but wanted to FaceTime the Mother who was buying the property for them . I told Barney that I was not happy as I was thinking of COVID and he booked them in for a viewing with Kim.
However, I decided to not leave my property and could not believe how it was handled.
The young couple were like kids in a sweet shop they loved my property and they opened my oven and my dishwasher and the agent just watched and said nothing. They were never told not to touch anything and acted like COVID was non existent
There are strict guidelines for Viewings which the agent ignored. I had to ask them to remove their shoes and the agent had no wipes or hand sanitizer.
I went into the agency to complain but I was marched out and told get out or we will get the police to remove you.
What a way to handle a complaint. They have the manners of a pig and I am happy to share this review with you if you are thinking of using them.
I am not someone who usually posts a review but I wanted to warn you of my experience with them.
If I could give 0 stars then I would they do not deserve the one star I have given them.

My initial good impression of The Property Centre came when I walked into the house (which I then bought) and thought 'wow, it actually looks like the photos'. And that 'honesty' ran throughout the whole process, from the valuation they had put on the property to completion.
Viewings were always accommodated quickly and the staff were always very welcoming and knowledgeable.
They were always quick to respond to emails and proactively provided updates on where the sale was. Excellent service.

I had viewed a couple of properties through Property Centre before I put my house in the market, and was very impressed by their professional, friendly manner and great sense of humour.
Once Barney came round to value my house, there was just no question in my mind who I wanted to sell it.
The whole team made me feel valued as a customer, they humoured me with my neuroticisms, confirmed viewings in plenty of time (for me to tidy up!) and always gave me timely feedback.
Covid-19 hasn’t impacted their service, and although we had some rotten luck courtesy of the pandemic, Olly, Barney and the team knew their customers and managed to find a buyer.
The team who look after you once you’re sale agreed are equally fabulous! Today I finally exchanged after what has been a few fraught weeks. Stephanie has laughed with me, talked me back from the edge when I wanted to call it all off and kept in touch with as much as I needed.

We had nine viewings in the first week and sold immediately. Despite lockdown then intervening and the property being in probate, Oliver helped us to keep the process moving smoothly and ensured all parties were kept informed.
