William H Brown Bawtry has so far been a very poor experience. I was interested in a property, called and spoke to an agent her name was Ellie. She said "hold on" then disappeared off the phone for ages without explaining why. She was obviously asking for info on the property and came back without an apology for leaving me hanging.
The property though I was told had gone to sealed envelope bids (after only being on the market for a week!), yet still appears on Rightmove.
I emailed 3 weeks after the sale to ask if it was still available and as yet have had no reply.
All in all a very unprofessional neglectful company and will not be in a hurry to use nor recommend.

This is the 2nd time I have had outstanding service from the team at William H Brown in Bawtry. I purchased a house through them 5 years ago, when re-locating to the Doncaster area and now coming to sell the same house, I had no hesitation in choosing them again. I have had nothing but friendly, down to earth and outstanding Customer Service from Megan, Carley, Casey & Lucy. They communicate punctually, clearly and always interact with you as a customer not a fee, unlike other agents. They know their business and nothing is too much trouble. I benchmark their level of service against several other agents in the Doncaster area that I have viewed properties through over the last few weeks with the intention of buying and the level of service from these other agents has often been noticeably very poor in comparison. Darcie dealt with our renting of a property and she was amazing! Mia was also very helpful when Darcie was out of the office. However many times I phoned with questions Darcie was always happy to help. She organised everything smoothly and speedily from the viewing on Monday to collecting the keys today, only four days later! She made what can be a stressful time smooth running. We used WHB to sell our house in Bawtry. Overall the experience was a positive one, and we wished we had used them initially as our agent. The marketing was of a high standard and the extended opening hours meant it was straightforward to get hold of people. We particularly appreciated Sarah going above and beyond to provide packing materials when our belligerent buyer forced us to move out at short notice.
We had a couple of lesser issues. Communication could have been improved. Messages were not always passed across internally and I believe that the buyer was given unrealistic promises that were not fully shared with us. On a few occasions, we also felt that some agents lacked experience and could have provided both more information about the local market and more comprehensive feedback after viewings. The estate agent overseeing our onward purchase has excelled in both these areas emphasising the contrast.
That said, we are grateful for the hard work of the whole team who we found to be friendly and helpful. Particular thanks to Sarah and Paige for all their efforts.

Couldn't have gone better. I rented a place through William H Brown and despite some hiccups around references (which were unavoidable- this is my first rental in the UK after living abroad for several years), I went from viewing to moving within a week, complete with fully compiled inventory, paperwork, a welcome pack containing extra information the team pulled for me (things like cleaning services, which I had only mentioned in passing, and which showed fantastic attention to detail).
Throughout the process I had access to staff over email to help keep the process going, and to help me understand what was going on too.
All in all, my experience has been nothing short of excellent

Used William H Brown to sell out property recently, had Sarah out for a valuation out of curiosity and in all honest I thought the valuation she gave was just sales patter, but I was very wrong, the house sold within a week, fell through 10 weeks later and with the help of the team, resold again within a couple of days. The whole sale process was very drawn out due to the solicitors and COVID but Olivia and Suzanne were brilliant at giving regular updates. Overall I would highly recommend William H Brown in Bawtry, not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive, but you get what you pay for, a first class service. Thank you very much.

I cannot fault the ladies at William H Brown in Bawtry. The sale of my house has been made straightforward by the hard work and dedication of the team. Sarah came to do the initial valuation on my house, she was warm and friendly from the get go whilst also being very knowledgable and explaining what to expect during the sale - all whilst sticking to the required COVID measures. The turnaround from valuation to the house being live on the market was less than a week and I had multiple viewing requests and an offer within 24 hours. Unfortunately the first offer fell through in the early stages, however Suzanne jumped straight on it and within a few hours of notifying me of the offer withdrawal, four more viewings were booked and another offer was made - all within 10 days of going on the market.
At every turn throughout the process, someone was available to advise me or settle my frayed nerves but the thing that stood out the most for me is how proactive the team are with chasing down feedback from viewings. As a prospective buyer, I have been shocked by how poor some estate agents are at this, but WHB had feedback for each and every viewing often not long after the viewing had taken place. During the sale I was kept up to date regularly and if I ever requested any help in chasing my buyers solicitors Suzanne or Claire would jump straight on it.
I could go on and on but to summarise, I am absolutely thrilled with the high level of service I received from WHB Bawtry, so much so that my partners property is now also on the market with them. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this branch, their approach really does take so much stress away from house selling and I couldn’t have asked for a more responsive, friendly or hard working estate agency. They really do work for their fee and they deserve every penny! Thank you all so much!

Bawtry office of William H Brown and Paula Smith, I can't thank Paula enough, She was the human caring element in this whole saga ! I have been through a turbulent divorce and been minutes away from losing my home in the settlement ! As always situations alter and unexpected things happen! The solicitors involved have been, and are, unfeeling emotionless robots ! Paula battled away in the background having her nose pushed out at times ! It was Paula I approached to help me remortgage and the girl bless her has stuck with it when it could have been deemed not worth bothering with and too difficult to deal with for most because of the agencies involved and at times seemed like they were involved in parts that they weren't required (this has cost me dearly in solicitors fees from the very start) My decision not to give up on getting my home back and to keep Paula involved were the best moves I could have made ! My remortgage has now been approved and hopefully it's all done and dusted and I can crack on with my life again ! I can't thank Paula enough ! I think a nice bunch of flowers is in order....

I had visited the Zoopla website to see if I could find accommodation in and around Bawtry.
As part of that process I completed the enquiry form on the Site which was then posted to half a dozen Estate Agents covering the area.
Within 5 minutes I received a telephone call from Olivia Graham of W H Brown who asked if I might be interested in a property in Bawtry which she described in detail. It seemed that some new carpets were being fitted in the property and the property detail would soon be on the W H Brown and Zoopla websites.
I indicated that I was interested and an appointment was made that afternoon to visit and I met Olivia at the agreed time.
I do have to say that her personality and her helpful approach sold the whole package to me. Nothing was of any bother and no matter what information I needed over the following 24 hours Olivia went out of her way to help. Everything that was needed was completed with Olivia's help in a short space of time. A painless and easy process which was absolutely fantastic.

Having had a bad experience with another local Estate Agent, we were happy to find a Professional, Efficient and Reliable Estate Agent in William H Brown, Bawtry.
The process of renting our home was easy, smooth and pleasant and we simply couldn't ask for any better.
Olivia and Caz were and still are our Go to people to sort our House for us and right from the initial meeting at the House, we knew we had chosen the correct Estate Agency.
They arrived on time, were knowledgeable, professional and relaxed with their approach to Lettings.
There wasn't any complications or long form filling, all the hard work was undertaken for us and Olivia and Caz handled the whole process superbly. From being super Polite and making you feel like their number one priority, we just sat back and gave them the reigns to secure our Home.

The staff at the branch were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had several viewings and all were attended by their manager

She has gone above and beyond my expectations!
I had a couple of small problems with the second property and Caz was BRILLIANT everything sorted very promptly!

Awful from the start! Shocking Communication, terrible attitude towards customers and tried to over charge us. We even had to contact directors as the branch was not communicating. A regional manager called and said they would email to confirm they would carry out what they promised. The email was not forthcoming and then we could not contact this person again. AVOID!
