From my bad experience I have to say that do not purchase any property with the corporate sale. It is just a hidden Auction. We had to increase our offer so many times for no reason also even we have been told that to choose a solicitor through them and in case the purchase is not done by both parties we will be refunded all the deposit known as ‘No Keys,No Fees’ and this is not true we lost our deposit and fees.

I was completely lost when came to selling my house and have been upset with different agencies' valuations which I was not happy with . Then the manager at Horsforth branch (Tom Sugden) came for a visit and explained everything in details and in a professional way , he gave me the highest estimation of my house value, and they actually manage to find me a perfect offer and now we are at the end of the whole process. They are very welcoming, friendly ,professional and always there when u need them.
I feel that I did handle my property to my family to sell as they were so caring, amazing and patient with all my concerns, and being a full time doctor I found them the best to deal with no waste of time or unwanted calls.
Million thanks to William H Brown Horsforth team and the manager Tom Sudgen who is a credit to the office in horsforth with no doubt.
I will go again and again with them when buying my next property for sure .

I would like to thank the best ever negotiator (Jacqueline Butterworth) who has been amazing through the whole Process of selling my property. She is briefly the right person in the right place!.
She knew exactly what I want and managed to book and run viewing all in one day, and she could figure out who is the best person to buy my house. Excellent communication with both parties and fabulous skills to find the best deal for me.

The team at Horsforth were so supportive and helpful, all working together for the same goal in helping make our purchase as swift as possible.
The main shining star of the event was Jacqueline Butterworth. She went over and beyond to make sure everything ran well and if ever there were any complications, she was on to it before we even knew.

I'm forever grateful to mortgage consultant Catherine Knott for her guidance and help getting us a mortgage . As a new mum I was struggling to face the challenge of the admin involved, but Catherine was so kind, clever and clear in our conversations and I quickly put my faith in her . This was the right thing to do as she found us a great affordable product despite some economic turmoil , and the fact that we are both self employed and I'm on maternity leave! The communication was great throughout the process, and when we went into the branch Catherine made us a coffee and even had a lovely toy to keep the baby occupied through a meeting . She has much more of a human and personal touch than any other mortgage broker I've spoken to, and she put everything in a real world context rather than limiting it to facts and figures. Posted pictures of our son as part of our listing when we asked for pictures to be blurred and were assured they would be. Asked for details around how many times it was viewed, how it happened etc and didn't really get a response. General standard of photos was poor, they left us to arrange the house ourselves and they, nor photographer, provided any useful input whatsoever as to the presentation of the house.
Asked them not to ring me as I was at a funeral on a specific day and time, they rang during the hours I stated not to.
More interested in making money than doing what is in the best interests of the customer. Not a reflection on the branch manager who I think generally has been let down by the entire company around them.
With so much other choice of estate agents in the area, just use someone else.

We were selling our old house at the same time so we had a good comparison of how different agencies manage property transactions. The branch manager, Laura, went above and beyond to make sure that the whole process was as smooth as possible. She kept us informed and updated us regularly, which was so important, especially when things came to a halt because of the Covid-19. When we encountered some difficulties towards the end of the transaction, Laura was incredibly reassuring and helped to move things along. This is the best Estate Agent I have ever dealt with. The whole team are so helpful and Friendly! I've been speaking to Laura and Melissa for my Property Purchase and I know they did more than they needed too. They consistently chased solicitors on both sides so they always knew what was happening. You get a phone call every week with an update. The team are very professional. I completed on my 40th Birthday and I received a card and a bottle of prosecco. This was so lovely of them. I will miss the team but will stay in contact.

i'm trying to buy a house they marketed as available, but it turned out the seller didn't want to complete for the first 3 months. my concerns were dismissed by this estate agent who responded with inaccurate information on the state of the sale. after that, they would not respond to emails and seem very slow on calling you back when their lines are too busy to connect to a person.
