Booking a viewing was easy and efficient, after giving an offer for the flat things went quickly too. Although, I felt quite pressured into renting the flat while the sale is in the process even though I have mentioned few times I'm staying with the family and renting doesn't interest me. After the sale memorandum came out my emails were only half answered when I had questions. The seller of the flat was investor and the agency made sure to highlight this to me repeatedly telling me they have more properties with this person. The investor wanted to meet in person before the sale, which was organised by the estate agents, on the date of our "meeting" I was told that there was the last minute change, the investor can not make It in person but we will have a zoom call, which of course never happened, I have travelled from other side of London just to waste my morning waiting for this important investor not to even respond to agency calls. Before I left, I was told we will re arrange the zoom call but have never heard back from the estate agent. The whole process was so unprofessional, it made me feel like the investor selling the flat was the important one here and my time didn't matter.

Disorganised time wasters. I had a viewing booked - organised by Sadie - which I travelled up from Brighton for, as well as making arrangements to leave work early, buying a train ticket etc. I emailed in the morning check in again on the viewing (I replied to the confirmation email which set out the time) and then was left waiting outside the property - no one showed up and when I called Winkworth they tried to pretend it was my fault saying they thought I was booked in on Saturday (never even nearly discussed a Saturday viewing), but then also gave a number of other useless excuses including saying that Sadie who booked my viewing moved to another branch (I spoke to her the day before). I had no bounce back from my email to her so obviously she still got me emails checking in on the viewing. Avoid avoid avoid

I was running late for a flat viewing and Phoebe was kind and professional. I ended up getting the flat and she’s been supportive and patient during the whole process. I am a highly anxious person but her calm manner was appreciated. Can’t wait to move in. Thank you Phoebe ????

Sold and purchased my property through Winkworth this year. Amazing, friendly and knowledgeable sales team who put customer satisfaction at the forefront of their business ethos. Gibson was very proactive on getting my property on the market. Katerina, was very proactive with viewings and showing me properties and offers that were fantastic. Hannah was an absolute star, ensuring all my requirements were met and the process was smooth.
Wouldn't recommend any other agent in the area other than Winkworth New Cross!!

I have had some extremely terrible experiences with estate agents over the years (Ludlow Thompson...) BUT Winkworth have been great, especially Ursula - she's been incredibly on the ball, replies swiftly, is quick to get things arranged and organised and always a pleasure to be in contact with. I would recommend Winkworth, especially the New Cross branch.
