After a disastrous experience with a different letting agent in Kilmarnock who neglected my property and even charged me for decorating work which had not been carried out, (hint: around the clock), Shannon and her team came to the rescue with a prompt and efficient management service which was a breath of fresh air.
They found me a tenant very quickly, and all is now up and running. I would definitely recommend.

The whole team have been superb from start to finish.
My 1st contact was with Stuart who came to value my property & gave good examples of similar properties currently on the market or recently sold.
Very friendly & knowledgeable.
Kim & the girls handled the queries, viewings & follow up calls with prospective buyers.
My house sold in under a week & I honestly feel the overall team was the reason behind it selling so quickly. They are ALL a credit to the Bishopbriggs branch & would strongly recommend them.

Very professional agent. Laura and her team solved all my enquiries and problems. The only thing I would ask for improvement is the time took for them to respond emails could be quicker. Overall, it’s a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend.

Honestly would give zero stars if I could. This place was not very helpful at all. Zero contact from them - I don't think that we received a single update in the whole 2 weeks we were dealing with them without having to spend hours ringing to get through ourselves. A waste of our time. Please learn to answer your phones or at least have an answering machine to tell people when you will or won’t be able to be contacted. DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT (unless you like being ignored and put on the back burner).

I appreciate the staffs and their efforts. However, very unfortunately, at least some (if not all) pictures of the properties are too old and so are misleading. I drove 3.5 hours to Stirling to view the property at 10A Upper Craigs, to which I said I was even ready to pay the deposit even without viewing the property. The advertised images were fantastic but when I was stressed to come for a viewing, and I did, it was a messed up property which had all doors broken, walls leaking/dripping, punch-broken doors, hung cabinets and unclean floor and shelfs. The place also had bugs and insects and showed no signs of maintenance.

From start to finish, SH&H made the very daunting process of selling AND buying both simple and stress free. Cumbernauld staff brilliant and all costings for their input both clear and reasonable. Everything you need in a one stop branch. I am so glad I chose them and would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

I have rented a house via Slater Hogg & Howison for close to 6 years now. Over this time there's been certain repairs needing attention ie damp and black mould. I have kept this house in great condition but the issues date back before I moved in. On countless occasions, mainly from 2021-2024 I have been trying to get these fixed with no joy. I've made so many complaints and have complained to the Property Ombudsman. I am heavily pregnant with my first baby due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison have been aware of this since at least the start of the year, I was trying to get them to fix the issues before June when baby is due as stated in emails to them. My husband contacted Slater Hogg to get an update on the repairs on 29th April, they said the landlord 'was trying to get to the root of the problem with the damp and black mould'. I started Maternity leave on 30th April and that same day Sheriffs Officers came to my door to issue an evicition notice under the grounds the landlord 'intends' to sell in July!! No warning inadvance at all and such a brutal way to treat us, we've always paid rent on time, kept house amazing. We can see an email attached to the evicition notice dated 11th April from Shona McCulloch of the Slater Hogg & Howison Dennistoun branch to say she 'would be delighted' to help sell the property when the landlord is ready. My baby is due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison are delighted to make a newborn baby homeless. This is a revenge evicition because I've been asking to get all the repairs done and i have all the years of proof. It's so unbelievably stressful to be going through this. I do not recommend Slater Hogg & Howison because they are extremely cruel.

Selling my house through Slater, Hogg and Howison was excellent. A brilliant service from start to finish! Any questions I had were dealt with quickly and efficiently. As someone who has never sold a house before, I felt supported throughout each stage of the process really putting me at ease. I was kept updated at all stages with viewings and viewer feedback. Karen, Craig and Rebecca in particular were all so friendly and helpful making the experience stress-free throughout. I am so pleased to have sold my house so quickly. Highly recommend!
