We have had a great experience with Slater Hogg & Howison Bridge of Weir. We sold our home with them and purchased our new home through them.
Colin did our appraisal on our property and the preparation for the listing before the house went on the market. He kept us informed at every stage and was very efficient.
Lena was always a great point of contact, arranging our viewing of the house we bought and viewers for our current property. She was also very helpful over the phone whenever I had any queries.
Eilidh has been our main point of contact and has been great throughout the whole process! She has a lovely manner and offered advice, which was balanced and impartial at all times. Our buying and selling process has been made to feel very smooth and we are extremely grateful!
I’d sell with this estate agent again and would recommend anyone else to do so. ????

I sold my property through Slater Hogg in just under 10 days from listing to offer. I found the quality of their service fantastic from advice to the standard of the photographs and videos online. From the other side of the coin, I was also looking for somewhere to buy at the same time and although I bought a property through another agent, the Slater Hogg team was responsive, engaged and a delight to deal with so can fully understand why my selling experience was so good.
I would absolutely recommend the team for anyone selling or buying.

I have rented a house via Slater Hogg & Howison for close to 6 years now. Over this time there's been certain repairs needing attention ie damp and black mould. I have kept this house in great condition but the issues date back before I moved in. On countless occasions, mainly from 2021-2024 I have been trying to get these fixed with no joy. I've made so many complaints and have complained to the Property Ombudsman. I am heavily pregnant with my first baby due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison have been aware of this since at least the start of the year, I was trying to get them to fix the issues before June when baby is due as stated in emails to them. My husband contacted Slater Hogg to get an update on the repairs on 29th April, they said the landlord 'was trying to get to the root of the problem with the damp and black mould'. I started Maternity leave on 30th April and that same day Sheriffs Officers came to my door to issue an evicition notice under the grounds the landlord 'intends' to sell in July!! No warning inadvance at all and such a brutal way to treat us, we've always paid rent on time, kept house amazing. We can see an email attached to the evicition notice dated 11th April from Shona McCulloch of the Slater Hogg & Howison Dennistoun branch to say she 'would be delighted' to help sell the property when the landlord is ready. My baby is due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison are delighted to make a newborn baby homeless. This is a revenge evicition because I've been asking to get all the repairs done and i have all the years of proof. It's so unbelievably stressful to be going through this. I do not recommend Slater Hogg & Howison because they are extremely cruel.

The passage of this application for a new rental flat went smooth from start to finish with Bernard meeting me at the apartment showing me around and clearly giving advice and information on the whole process and procedures that Slater & Howie use to represent their clients. Very Professional. The office work in the background Shannon , Bernard and colleagues working to make the conveyancing go smooth right through to the my tenant agreement signing and moving in. A Happy Tenant.

I have just bought a house through slater Hogg in Kirkcaldy and arranged my mortgage through their adviser Sarah who was great. They have an excellent team who were very professional but very friendly, approachable, and helpful. Thank you also to Ann for your genuine support and the other ladies in the office too. I have looked at many houses in the last 4 months but their service and staff are by far the best. Thank you.

What a wonderful team and service from the Largs Slater, Hogg & Howison branch, from putting our cottage on the market to receiving our offer, the whole process was smooth and we always felt like a priority.
Judith was amazing, so professional, such a strong negotiator with commitment, did a fantastic job on our behalf. Taking her advice on our purchase price at the same time was extremely helpful. The depth of knowledge and discretion from all the team always with humour and positive comments. The social media marketing package that was picked up by the local press was incredible.
Special thanks to everyone in the office, always happy to help and taking all our queries and calls.
Extremely happy with the whole outcome start to finish and especially the market value achieved. Would highly recommend.

I'd definitely recommend Slater Hogg & Howison Livingston. Our experience was great - they gave us the best advise and additional information we needed. Terry, their mortgage adviser, is awesome! He's got loads of experience and did a fantastic job. He was friendly, professional, honest and really supportive. The whole team at the office is amazing. 5 starts without doubt :)
