I had my house up for sale with a few agents who were great but Debbie fortune got my sale over the line. The thing I like the most is communication and they didn’t fail me with this. Kept me in the loop all the time, found my buyers and continued to carry out great communication throughout. Special thanks to Elliot who ‘sold’ our house and special thanks to Stevie who monitored the after sale. It was a bit touch and go with exchanging towards the end with solicitors but Stevie is who you want to apply the pressure in the right wait to get it sorted. I can’t thank Debbie fortune estate agents enough for this process and I would highly recommend using them if you want to sell your house. Equally if you buy a house through them! Very much looking forward to getting into our new home next week!
29th Oct 2025 (22 weeks ago)From the valuation right up until being SSTC (which we are at present so cannot comment any further as I don’t have a crystal ball!) Sam has been absolutely fantastic. He was very honest during the valuation, did not try to pressure sell us, and allowed us to come back to him in our own time after obtaining other valuations. We felt it was an honest and fair valuation that had market evidence to back it up. Sam set up a WhatsApp group which was so helpful for quick communication, and we managed to sell our house in 2 weeks. He also helped us with knowing what and how to offer on our next property, which we have now secured. Even still through the sale process Sam and the team are always on hand if our buyers have any questions for us, or we have any questions in general. He was also a great help in helping us find decent local solicitors. Very smooth process so far - far above expectations.

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

9th Mar 2026 (23 days ago)I bought a house through Harris & Lee, the one I was initially purchasing fell through and Sarah was so kind in talking me through it and found me 3 other houses to look at the next weekend. From those I found the house I'm now living in. Without the amazing help from Sarah and the whole Harris & Lee team, I know things would have been a lot harder. Hopefully I won't be moving any time soon, but when that time comes I will absolutely be going through these guys. They are fantastic!

19th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Had a phone call off Tracy, who said I could view a property at 12pm on a Thursday. Booked a viewing for 12pm. No one showed up. When calling the office they had no recollection of who I was and the property was let. Unprofessional and embarrassing
19th Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)We just recently moved from Bristol to Cheddar. Laurel & Wylde weren't our estate agents but they were for our purchase. Jane May was excellent from start to finish she kept us updated (not only us the whole chain). I do believe if it wasn't for Jayne the move might not of happened. A massive thank you Jayne. If anyone is looking for help in selling & moving Laurel & Wylde are an absolute must 10 out of 10.

2nd Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Cooper and Tanner Lettings Ltd were employed by our Landlord to oversee the serving of a section 21 notice (submitted for no reason by the landlord other than he wanted to raise the rent by 25%). This was delayed as we had to involve environmental health due to damp, mould, rats and broken hinges on windows. Caroline Peebles-Brown was initially supportive, stating that we had done our best to maintain the property and it was in much better condition than the landlord had suggested - although the landlord (Colin Leach) had not redcorated, recarpeted or repaired any of the property for our 9 year tenure. She also confirmed that any damage to colouring of the walls was due to age and not nicotine (neither of us smoked). Her stance soon changed and we felt that she had been devious in her initial approach with us. The section 21 notice was issued as soon as possible (after a long list of jobs to be completed had been submitted by environmental health). Both my housemate and I are clased as vulnerable due to illness and this was never considered or taken into account. Having no choice but to request a subject access request regarding the use of our personal data, we received copies of specific emails between Caroline and the landlord, colluding together regarding the return of our deposit. Although this company acted as our agents for only a short period (and I believe no longer act on behalf of the landlord), they were deceitful, inconsiderate, more concerned with completing the list of jobs given to them by enviromental health than considering our mental health (we had workmen arrive at short notice and on the weekends) and were unprofessional. If you are a tenant looking to rent a property through this company, I would wait until the new legislation comes in, early next year.

9th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)After 10 days I changed estate agents as was not happy with Nest. They have no office they only advertise on Rightmove but didn't mention this before the ad went live. They were a grand more expensive than some other estate agents. My house was badly advertised at first like a kids Wendy house. No for sale sign turned up and I was given an EPC through the estate agent which was overpriced. This was all done by Oliver who was also about to go on leave for a week. I would not recommend Nest and only went with them as buying a new house through them.
