19th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)It's taken me a couple of weeks to get to write this review but the team at Leavenheath have been fantastic throughout this protracted sale having produced three purchasers over the period. The first was affected by Liz Truss the second someone trying to buy involving Cryptocurrency (you couldn't write it) They stuck with me throughout the whole process and found the third and successful buyer. Availability on the telephone and communication in general was great. They clearly smoothed what would otherwise have been a very bumpy ride in the market we were selling in. Thank you all

2nd Jun 2023 (1 year ago)I was very disappointed with the lack of any interest in my property. I was constantly told that sales in the area were virtually nil, and to reduce the price, this brought no more interest at all to the table. I decided to take my property off the market, at least until my contract time with Chewton rose is up.
10th May 2024 (21 weeks ago)Holly was professional and very knowledgeable of property in the Tiptree area. Originally priced the property above the recommended value had 16 viewing that David Martin undertook. Communications by phone and email were good keeping us in the picture. They obtained the buyer and communicated well during the negotiation process.
25th Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)Lamb and co Clacton-On-Sea took my property (which is Jointly owned) behind my back to market, did all the photos and valuations without my concent or acknowledgement, they had no idea the house had two vendors. (Didn't bother to do a land registry check!) I found out from cctv of the photographer taking photos of my house. They made my property live on rightmove before receiving my signed copy of concent. (I've emails to prove all of this) Was lied to by two directors one said he'd be attended the viewing the next claimed he never said that. They are awful and I'd avoid at all costs. Use another agent and avoid callum and Scott at lamb and co Clacton-On-Sea. would NOT recommend!!
20th Aug 2022 (2 years ago)Despite promises of being two people to run our open house, it felt like they sent the office junior who knew nothing about the property, and seemed to be nothing more than a glorified doorman. This meant that out of 20 viewing (and being assured of getting “7 or 8 offers well over the asking price” we had just two- one well below the offers over price. From there, the communication was practically non existent unless we done the chasing. We had used a different branch of theirs before who I would rate 5 star, but Colchester high street branch was terrible this time. Our final thoughts was that the house was undersold on the day, and awful communication.

He was absolutely brilliant, worked his absolute hardest to complete on both sides during a difficult market situation. Great communication and a very experienced guy. Highly recommend this company, 5 stars ????

19th Jan 2024 (8 mo. ago)If I could give no stars, I would. This company is absolutely disgraceful from lying, time wasting, absolutely no communication and complete forgery. They took a holding deposit from us TWICE, the first time saying the tenants weren't moving to then upload it again under a different house number and ignore the emails regarding this but happy to take the deposit again, a holding deposit should secure the flat while the relevant checks are done, however when we noticed the flat was back on rightmove with NO COMMUNICATION again, we of course questioned this to which Bartlett and Hammond admitted they had given it to another couple, so they took a holding deposit which literally means to hold the property and NOT let others view it and apply. None of which makes sense considering they reposted it online, you'd think all the time they save not doing their job properly they could at least come up with a better lie. Now if you ever do get a response from these guys (like getting fire from ice) it will be the most informal and rude email you will ever receive. Do not use these guys unless you like your time wasted, money taken and being lied to.

No one cares that property needs maintenance work doing. No ownership taken by any member of staff when enquiring about completing standard land lord/letting agency jobs where property maintenance is required to maintain a safe living environment.
2nd Feb 2024 (8 mo. ago)I really can not fault Exquisite Homes, They did everything perfectly, the brochure for my house was a work of art, it was glossy and made more like a book, in comparison with the tatty photocopied sheets I had from some of the estate agents who were offering houses I was considering buying. Their photographer was amazing and produced fantastic pictures and, it's the pictures that sell the house in the first place. The team who sold my house was amiable and efficient. Even after the sale had been agreed the Exquisite team, chased the solicitors and pushed the sale through, the only thing I had to do was sign the contract. If you do not use Exquisite Homes to sell your home, you only have yourselves to blame.

(2 reviews)5th May 2023 (1 year ago)Very disappointing… they didn’t vet the viewers carefully enough and had a lot of time wasters . Marketing of the property was such that offers were coming in way below what the property was worth. When I asked them to take the property off the market it took them days to take it off Rightmove and they still haven’t been round to collect the For Sale sign or indeed return the spare set of keys we lent them .

6th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)You couldn’t find a more honest and trustworthy estate agent than Jordan. I have used his services for my last 3 house moves and his knowledge and experience made each move as stress free as possible. Being local meant he managed to secure a buyer for our last house extremely quickly with his contacts and connections.
