They successfully sold two of our houses and provided amazing service from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly, professional, and dedicated to getting the best outcome for us. We would like to give an extra special mention to Debbie, who dealt with our purchases and was incredibly professional, helpful, and supportive throughout the process. We also want to thank Danny and Ruby, who truly went the extra mile when selling our homes too. Their communication was excellent — they always picked up messages quickly, responded promptly, and made us feel genuinely heard and supported every step of the way. They all worked incredibly hard to sell both properties and gave us the extra care and attention that made such a difference during what can be a stressful process. We’re so grateful for all of their hard work and would absolutely use John Alexander again in the future to sell our home. Thank you!

Vanity pricing at the start of the process to secure the business and then after 4 weeks of no proactive effort (mail-shots to warm clients - they just relied on Rightmove etc) they rang to suggest a reduction and without any discussion went ahead. Very disappointing.

They are still the same bunch of people who will try to rip you off on every single occasion. Please avoid at all cost. There are plenty good agencies out there

30th May 2026 (10 days ago)We’ve had the best experience with Knights residential. From the off set when we first met Chloe at a viewing for another property we wanted to sell our property through knights. Then every step of the process has been exactly what you’d wish for with a property sale. They listened to our preferences and did everything the way we wanted it- no unnecessary pushiness, great contact, quick responses and the best customer service. Chloe was amazing from the start and was the reason we were first drawn to Knights, David came and valued the property and took great photos, no lying to get us to go with them either- what he said we’d get we did, Josh was also great and kept us in the loop with our offer (out of office hours and during a very difficult day for the company when they said goodbye to their colleague- which was appreciated but not what we would have expected) then Lorraine their sales progressor worked so hard to get our sale through as smooth as possible- especially in the last week before exchange!! Not your typical estate agents, who push you to go with them, then contact you pointlessly with no information, tell you to drop the price because what they originally valued at wasn’t what it was worth anyway, then ghost you when the property is sold. When the day comes that we want to move again we would absolutely go with knights again and recommend them to anyone we know selling in the Colchester area!

22nd May 2026 (18 days ago)Excellent first class service would highly recommend to both prospective renters and landlords. Process was all new to me but I was helped and supported all the way through by Kingsleigh (Nicky in particular) and am now looking forward to moving in very soon.

They have been so patient with us, more than accommodating and fitting us in such late notice for a viewing which I really appreciated! I would recommend to both buyers and sellers. The team is friendly, approachable, and always quick to respond to any questions or issues we’ve had. Any maintenance requests were dealt with promptly and efficiently, and we’ve always felt like we were being taken seriously and looked after. Moving in was straightforward, and the communication throughout our tenancy has been excellent. It’s rare to find a letting agency that feels this organised and genuinely cares about its tenants, but Ezelet absolutely delivers. We’ve felt supported throughout and really appreciate the high level of service. We would happily recommend Ezelet to anyone looking for a reliable and professional letting agency! More power Ezelet.

Charlie, who came to value our house, was fantastic ,professional, informative, and approachable. Everyone involved in showing our house to potential buyers was equally impressive. Marcus, Zailo, Zoe, and Chloe were all knowledgeable about the property, well prepared, and professional when conducting viewings. The team at the Lexden branch are brilliant , always helpful, understanding, and professional. A special mention must go to Amy in sales progression, who was amazing from start to finish. She was incredibly patient, and although arranging the completion date took some persistence, Amy made it happen smoothly. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the service we received what a great experience!
