Peter is a good communicator which helps to keep the sales process moving along. Peter keeps me informed of new properties coming to the market that may suit my clients. I have done a number of deals with Peter in the last couple of years and my clients have all been happy with the properties and the process. He has been fantastic from the very start and he has always gone above and beyond for us. Really friendly, helpful and professional, a pleasure to deal with. Communication with Rob or any of his colleagues at Nicholas Percival whether it was face to face, via the telephone or email has always been polite, knowledgable and in a very timely manner. We hope this will be our forever home, so won't require the services of Nicholas Percival but will be sure to recommend to any friends or family needing such services. Thanks again to the Nicholas Percival team.

20th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Despite promises of being two people to run our open house, it felt like they sent the office junior who knew nothing about the property, and seemed to be nothing more than a glorified doorman. This meant that out of 20 viewing (and being assured of getting “7 or 8 offers well over the asking price” we had just two- one well below the offers over price. From there, the communication was practically non existent unless we done the chasing. We had used a different branch of theirs before who I would rate 5 star, but Colchester high street branch was terrible this time. Our final thoughts was that the house was undersold on the day, and awful communication.

We have always found them very proffesional with all aspects of managing properties. Ben Wilde is the senior partner who makes sure his team of staff who have been with him for a long while offer a quick response to any problem that may occur whilst the property is being managed by them. 23rd Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Huge thank you to both Peter and Samantha for being absolute angels during the most stressful move ever! They were beyond understanding and accommodating when things went wrong multiple times and didn't end up getting to view the place before moving in, but I really felt like their work ensured that I wasn't getting any less in terms of service. Thank you especially to Samantha who was so kind and waited for me to get my cat up to Colchester by train after my movers let me down twice. She is such a kind, lovely person to have been in contact with for this, and I wish her all the best!
19th Jan 2024 (16 weeks ago)If I could give no stars, I would. This company is absolutely disgraceful from lying, time wasting, absolutely no communication and complete forgery. They took a holding deposit from us TWICE, the first time saying the tenants weren't moving to then upload it again under a different house number and ignore the emails regarding this but happy to take the deposit again, a holding deposit should secure the flat while the relevant checks are done, however when we noticed the flat was back on rightmove with NO COMMUNICATION again, we of course questioned this to which Bartlett and Hammond admitted they had given it to another couple, so they took a holding deposit which literally means to hold the property and NOT let others view it and apply. None of which makes sense considering they reposted it online, you'd think all the time they save not doing their job properly they could at least come up with a better lie. Now if you ever do get a response from these guys (like getting fire from ice) it will be the most informal and rude email you will ever receive. Do not use these guys unless you like your time wasted, money taken and being lied to.

Charlie Coe organised a van and he and Luke came to my house to collect the items. It was not a straightforward collection and involved Charlie and Luke having to dismantle some items. They did this willingly and successfully. I was impressed by their dedication to doing the job to the best of their ability; in fact they went beyond what I had expected of them. Thank you Charlie and Luke.

At every stage of the process they were helpful, and went out of their way to build a good relationship between buyers and sellers which worked to everyone's advantage-- especially as in this case the sellers will be our future neighbours. We had very well arranged zoom calls and resolved timing issues to do with stamp duty, moving dates, etc. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and we are very grateful to Sophia and the team.

3rd May 2024 (4 days ago)I’m now using Ezelet as management agents for a third rental property as I’ve previously been so satisfied with their service. They have gained a certificated award during the time I’ve used them, which just confirms the professionalism and friendly support that I’ve always found the company offers. They deal well with liaising between themselves, the tenants and tradespeople, sorting out any problems along the way to my full satisfaction, whilst keeping me informed of any developments. Our viewing was cancelled the day before due to a vendor accepting the first offer on a property. I feel if the vendor had known of our position, our viewing could have gone ahead and we would have made an offer.
