From the moment of contact, Danny was reassuring, supportive and confident that he would help us secure a buyer for our property which he did quickly. He has fanastic knowledge of the market and strategy for both selling and buying property. After securing a buyer for our property, Danny went on to provide us with key advice and support in the negotiation of our new property. We are thrilled with the result, and so grateful to Danny and John Alexander. We felt that they always had our best interests at heart. We couldn't recommend them high enough. Thank you!

They provided an excellent service throughout the whole sale and genuinely went above and beyond to help me get the transaction over the line.<br><br>My sale was particularly complicated due to a divorce, with various additional challenges along the way, but they handled everything with professionalism, patience and understanding. They were always on hand when I needed them, kept me updated throughout and were incredibly proactive in dealing with any issues that arose.<br><br>Selling a home can be stressful at the best of times, but having Michael, Ben and James there made a huge difference. They worked incredibly hard, were approachable and supportive throughout, and I always felt that they genuinely cared about getting the best possible outcome for me.<br><br>A fantastic team and a credit to the company. Thank you, Michael, Ben and James, for all your hard work and support.

Those she couldnt Libby came back to me the following day with the answers.<br>Over the following week she kept me informed as to what was and would be happening and liaised with the owners with any other queries.<br>Thoroughly professional and extremely supportive and understanding. She went above and beyond at every possible opportunity to keep things moving, get problems resolved as quickly as possible and, just as importantly, keep us calm and reassured throughout it all.<br><br>Evenings, weekends, even while she was on holiday — Olivia always seemed to be there when we needed her. The level of care, communication and commitment she showed us was honestly exceptional.<br><br>The entire team at Beresfords Maldon were fantastic, helping us with both the sale of our property and the purchase of our new home. 11th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)At the start, our experience with Saxons was fine. They communicated well with us and regularly asked us for documents and information, which we provided. However, since paying the holding fee, the communication has completely changed. Over the last month, we have repeatedly tried contacting them by email and phone with normal questions, but have been ignored. I have emailed over five times and still haven’t received a response. The person we were originally dealing with is also no longer available on WhatsApp, so we have been left unsure who we can actually contact. We have all signed our rental contracts, yet our portal still says, “We cannot take payment until all parties have signed the rental contract.” We have contacted Saxons about this and still haven’t received a response or explanation. The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is because communication was good at the beginning. Unfortunately, recently it feels like they want nothing to do with us, which is extremely frustrating and disappointing

I was looking for a property after a relationship breakdown and their service has been personable, reliable and they absolutely pushed for the property to be ready as soon as possible for my tight time frames. 4th Sep 2026 (16 days ago)We recently bought a property through the team at David Burr in Castle Hedingham which we are thrilled with. They really buck the trend of the stereotypical estate agent - we felt well informed and that they were transparent throughout the process. Most importantly, we never felt under pressure to buy unlike our uncomfortable experience with some other national agents. We would highly recommend if you're looking for an agent in the area - they're an absolute pleasure to deal with.

She explained every step clearly, patiently, and without jargon — making the whole process feel manageable and even exciting.<br><br>Sarah was always on hand to reassure me, kept me updated at every stage, and went above and beyond to answer every single question — no matter how small. She is warm, kind, professional, and genuinely cares about getting things right.<br><br>I honestly couldn’t have asked for better support. If you’re buying your first home, Sarah is the person you want by your side. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

26th Aug 2026 (25 days ago)We worked with this so called ,, senior negotiator ,, Chloe , while trying to purchase a property. Throughout the process, the negotiation tactics were highly aggressive & lacked transparency. Chloe pressured us to increase our offer by claiming there were multiple higher bids, but refused to provide clear timeline updates or confirm when our conditions were presented to the vendor. Due to this lack of communication and high-pressure environment, we withdrew our interest. I would not recommend using this agency if you value transparency or professional service.<br>Lacked communication & honesty. Time wasting .<br>Avoid at all costs.

4th Sep 2026 (16 days ago)They lie on their moving in and moving out checks - take a video with you.<br>Also they make you feel obliged to give good Internet reviews for them.<br>I'll never forget the 2 years they spent trying to get my brother to pay for an iron mark which was on the carpet when he moved in.<br>Another house, I left a new washing machine behind, which they charged a £100 disposal fee for. When I said I'd collect it myself they said it was OK to leave!<br>Very low moral standards of all the staff here

Even when things got really stressful, they stayed calm, proactive and genuinely supportive. A friendly, reliable team who made a huge difference. Honestly, we felt like we hit the jackpot.
