They have gone above and beyond to ensure that everything has been handled correctly and that the resolution has been reached in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend the very professional John Alexander staff in the future, having dealt with both Tiptree and Colchester offices. Everyone I have had dealings with in the company has been exemplary - well done, and thank you! ADDED COMMENT - March 2026 - A big thank you to all the staff at John Alexander for their continued patience for nearly another year - they had no problem selling my property, but were severely obstructed by events out of their control. Despite this, they pursued every angle to try to get the best conclusion for me. I am so grateful to them for handling everything in a professional and courteous manner. These people really do everything they can to help.

30th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)Words cannot explain how helpful these guys have been. It’s been a long process but me and my partner finally have the flat we have had our eyes on for a month. I’d like to mention a few names. Micheal, Lauren, Mark and Sue have been so helpful working so hard to get all the forms filled out and work through all the issues we’ve had. Thank you so much guys. Highly recommended this estate agent! So friendly and helpful too! Always made me and my Connor feel positive about going with them. Thank you!!

Thank You- 2nd May 2026 (4 days ago)Beresfords helped us with our move into one of their new homes. The service we received was excellent. I was particularly impressed by Eleanor and how active she was in helping us get the purchase across the line. Eleanor always responded to our questions quickly and made the whole process just a little bit less stressful.

This estate agency is a joke, rented a property from them for two years in Ipswich, on 4 separate occasions they allowed people to go in the house without out my knowledge or permission.. FOUR TIMES. Breaking the contract and just a cheap apology. Then I move out and 5 weeks later they are charging me for dust, and grass in the garden to be cut both was done when I moved out. There is no support for the tenant with this estate agency, they just don’t care. Worst estate agents ever. Avoid at all costs. I’m now taking them and the landlord to court.

My flat sold in no time and everything went through smoothly. I would highly recommend using them. I spoke with an agent called Glenda who was extremely helpful and friendly
18th Nov 2023 (2 years ago)As many people said it earlier they removed all reviews as they were so bad. I can't find my personal one as well. They are still the same bunch of people who will try to rip you off on every single occasion. Please avoid at all cost. There are plenty good agencies out there

11th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)I would highly recommend David Burr in Castle Hedingham. Tim, Richard and Gemma were such a helpful and friendly team, I honestly couldn’t fault them. They were always easy to get hold of, consistently polite, and went out of their way to keep things moving by regularly chasing the rest of the chain for updates. That made a huge difference and took a lot of the stress off us. From start to finish, the whole process was smooth and positive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable local estate agent.

23rd Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)I should have went with Knight Residential from the start to sell my house. After 8 weeks with no viewings, I asked Matt to place my house one the market with Knight’s. Wishing a few days, we had multiple viewings and an offer made and excepted. Matt then passed me over to Lorraine, who knew we had a quick turnaround needed of 6 weeks. Lorraine went above snd beyond, not that she would ever say she did. Each week she would make contact to provide updates, she would work with the buyer and our solicitors to ensure a swift smooth sale. Lorraine is now selling my letting property and everything again is going just as smoothly as. I would recommend Knight Residential, not just to sell, but to provide expert advice, guidance and if I were to purchase, let or sell again, I would not hesitate to go direct to Knight’s. Thank you.

They also kept my buyers in place from start to finish which was circa 10 Months so was really grateful for that.

He has met us several times at the property and has been very prompt with asking sellers for further information. It's been very helpful having that personal service and a single person contact, and it's very refreshing to find an estate agents that know what they are doing!

She went above and beyond to meet everyone's needs in our chain and complete the purchase of our first family home. 6th May 2026 (0 days ago)The process has been remarkably quick and efficient from receiving the Get Agent information on the 3-5 top performing local estate agents, to selecting our Personal Estate agent who has excellent knowledge of the local environment and current sales values. She supported our presentation of the home and her pre-publicity and social media "video teasers" were a highly useful marketing tool. We had received an offer before going to market due to her knowledge of local buyers. We did however wait to open market and have had an offer within 10days!

We spoke regularly to Mike Bidwell who was our main contact and he was very proactive in trying to move the purchase along. Mike also went out of his way to resolve an issue after we'd moved into the property, which we are very thankful for. Based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending Exquisite Homes to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
