14th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

18th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)I was initially sceptical about placing our property on the market in October however, the reassurance from Gavin and his team quickly erased any doubts and the first class presentation which included over 50 stunning photographs of the house resulted in a sale after only two day's of being advertised. A first class service offering extremely good value and advice and one i couldn't recommend highly enough.
7th Oct 2022 (1 year ago)Excellent service Great communication, Very Friendly and so easy to talk to. They have an excellent knowledge of the property market. The staff work as a team which makes for great customer care. They offer excellent advice on how to obtain the best price for your property.

15th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)This used to be a decent enough place until they employed idiots during the pandemic. The Shirley one who started in 2021 is particularly rude and obnoxious. She simply will not answer emails or return calls. Nothing professional about her at all but I guess when you pay peanuts you get monkeys! ???????
20th Dec 2023 (19 weeks ago)Absolutely pathetic service. We we lied to from the onset. Rod wouldn't get back for up to a month at a time. Carried out useless work for over inflated prices without permission. Incidentally nothing materialaliaed with anything that he said he had done. Sorry excuse of an Estate Agent and I would keep away real nightmare of a man. He would phone up every 3 to 4 months and say how much did you pay for your property originally and did this for years.

Quite different from my experience with other estate agents whom I have used in the past. 100% top class service

A very friendly and helpful service with very quick to replies to any questions that I had. Staff were efficient in dealing with any problems.

(2 reviews)21st Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Used them as our solicitors when buying a house. Would not recommend, the guy was on holiday a lot and took a while to get back to us. No real sense of urgency.i can live with that. They knew we were foreigner's and failed in their duty of care to inform us that you can claim certain things in Scotland when sold a place if they are not in working order. Yes I had to renovate the property but this could have potentially saved me a lot of money. At the very least they failed to disclose this information which was incompetence on their end. The only reason I knew about this was because when we sold the house the buyer tried to take the mick and claim stuff under this rule that fell outside of it and I had to research it. We had no mention of this from the firm which they really should have told us about considering we were paying them and all.

If your buying a property and DM Hall have done the home report please please check everything as they just tick everything off as ok without checking and from what I hear they take payments from sellers to make reports more attractive. Just check everything as they are not to be trusted.

8th Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)We used Harley's to sell our house and we were originally purchasing a house via them too. Yvonne is amazing - the customer service is absolutely second to none. I had valuations from a couple of agencies but Yvonne was by far the most reassuring, trustworthy and reliable. From start to finish she kept us fully updated with both our sale and property search and was always on hand to help out. Our house sold within 3 days of going on the market and even when our purchase took longer than we initially thought, Yvonne was incredibly helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell over any other agency in the region.
