1st Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)From the first phone call with Stephanie, who was a breath of fresh air, to the initial meeting with Emma, who was informative, confidence inspiring and took on board exactly how and what we were looking for, with the sale of our home. O'Malley stood out compared to the other agents that we had seen, and the service has been impeccable. Kept us informed at every step and the house sold within 6 days! Would highly recommend them! The sales progression app, they use, is genius! All round a 1st Class service, but its the staff that made it a pleasurable experience. Thanks again Emma!
4th Nov 2025 (21 weeks ago)Alyson took over selling our house after we had problems with the previous agent. She was recommended to me by a neighbour and it was a difference of night and day! The previous agent hardly contacted us and appeared disinterested in the house, ignored our complaints, was completely unprofessional by bad-mouthing another local agent (in writing!) and tried to talk us into accepting a far lower offer than we wanted. Alyson, on the other hand, is the complete opposite of this agent. She is entirely professional and worked extremely hard. Even when things went a bit off the rails when an offer was withdrawn, she went right back to work and got us the price we were looking for. We were kept informed every step of the way. She was never unreachable. The previous agent may have been cheaper but it showed. You get what you pay for! I have no hesitation in recommending Alyson and Alexander Taylor Estate Agents to everyone who may be planning on selling their house in the future.

He always helped to ease any of my worries I had, as well as answer any questions I had . Greg is incredibly easy to get on with and is always available when you need him. He definitely made my process 110x easier and I'm grateful I had Gregory to guide me through this process! I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a smooth mortgage process and where the staff are truly catered to helping you as much as they can.

It took slightly longer than I had hoped for but at the end of the day we accepted an offer that we were very happy with. Carol was our main point of contact and she was great especially towards the end when things got a bit frantic with 3 offers in the space of a couple of days. Whilst our property was on the market we dealt with a number of people in the Stirling office and all of them were very knowledgeable and couldn't have been more helpful. We took advantage of the pre registration service with Clyde so we were ready to go when we found a property we wanted to go for. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clyde to sell your home. Very professional from start to finish.

2nd Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)My husband and I had rented from Property Bureau last year and met Lorna Donald and Yvonne Davies, the lovely ladies who are the faces of Property Bureau in Stirling. They were incredibly helpful and informative and went above and beyond with helping us yanks with local insights. This year they located and helped us buy our home in Stirling. They were extremely patient in explaining the buying process in Scotland which is very different from buying in the States. They helped us every single step of the way with graciousness and humor when we made daily visits to their office. We would highly recommend this branch for all your letting or buying needs.

He’s been instrumental in helping us scale rapidly and is now managing a portfolio of 20 properties for us with complete professionalism. Lewis handles everything from tenant sourcing and compliance to ongoing maintenance and problem-solving, all with an incredible level of care and efficiency. What really sets him apart is his commitment - he genuinely treats each property as if it were his own. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he’s become a trusted partner (and friend) along the way. He knows this game inside out, and our tenants love him also. Our properties are kept in tip top condition 247, 365 days of the year, and from a business point of view, our rents drop into our account as and when they are received with no issues. Thank you, Lewis - we couldn’t have done it without you!

From the outset, communication was prompt, clear, and consistent, and we were kept well informed throughout the entire process. They were always at hand by phone and email. The local office very useful to be able to pop in when needed. Our first meeting with Lyndsay was for the valuation. It was far more than just putting a price on the property, she took the time to understand our needs and provided thoughtful, informed advice about the process ahead. Her approach struck a balance between profession and a personal touch. Elaine was equally helpful, always quick to respond and offer reassurance when needed. With young children and pets, coordinating viewings could have been challenging, but the team made it easy. They worked with us to create a schedule that suited our routines and always provided plenty of notice. The photos and floorplan were handled by a professional photographer who did an excellent job with both the photography and floorplan. We were very pleased with how the property was presented. Communication was one of the standout aspects of the experience. We received regular updates on viewings, and all materials were reviewed with us first. The team were considerate in choosing how to communicate, using email when appropriate and picking up the phone when needed. They liaised efficiently with all parties involved and helped ensure a smooth process. Most importantly, we felt genuinely supported by a team that listened, guided us thoughtfully, and remained fully engaged from start to finish. No impersonal web portal, just real people, ready to help. The house sold quickly, and we couldn’t be happier with the way NEST handled the sale.

15th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Overpromised, Underperformed and Untrustworthy – My Costly Mistake with HSD I initially listed my property with PurpleBricks in March 2025 for £535,000. After limited viewings over a three-month period, I began exploring other options and submitted an enquiry to WeBuyAnyHouse. They quickly came back with an offer of £460,000—roughly 14% below asking—claiming it would allow for a quick sale. I immediately declined, as I was not in a rush and didn’t want to take such a significant loss. Shortly after, my details were apparently passed on to House Sales Direct (HSD), seemingly a sister company, without my explicit consent. HSD came across as professional and engaging at first. They promised a 98% success rate in selling properties within 28 days, citing a strong network of pre-approved buyers and investors who could complete within 6–8 weeks. They suggested a sale price spread of £510k–£535k, assuring me they would work to get me the best price possible. It sounded promising. Based on these assurances, I decided to proceed with HSD. I withdrew my PurpleBricks listing—costing me £300—with the understanding that HSD’s investor network would accelerate the sale. But things quickly began to unravel. Despite supposedly having investors lined up, HSD said they needed to relist my property on Rightmove first. When I questioned why investors couldn’t simply view the home, the response was vague. It took nearly two weeks for them to relist, and the new asking price was £525,000. A full week passed without any communication. Then came a call recommending the price be dropped to £499,000. I was told this was “just a marketing tactic,” and that they still aimed to get me a sale within the original £510k–£535k range. But I struggled to understand how listing a property nearly £40,000 lower would achieve that. I asked again about the investors. They finally admitted the only offer received was the same £460k I'd declined weeks earlier through WeBuyAnyHouse. This was when the red flags really began to show. Why wasn’t I told this upfront? Why present an optimistic price range if their investor offer was fixed at £460k from the beginning? Why was I encouraged to pull the property from PurpleBricks if they intended to rely on the open market anyway? I could have just reduced the price there and avoided unnecessary costs and delays. Doing more research online, I found stories from others with eerily similar experiences. It appeared HSD’s real model was to attract sellers with high expectations and then drop the price, relying on open-market tactics to force a quick sale. Despite claiming not to charge commission, they would never clearly explain how they made their money. It seems they may be negotiating higher prices with buyers while offering sellers less—profiting off the gap. No transparency, no trust. Meanwhile, they knew I was paying a high mortgage on an empty property. It became clear they were hoping I’d become desperate enough to accept the same low £460k offer I had already rejected twice. In the four weeks my property was listed with them, only four viewings were arranged. Two were no-shows. Of the remaining two, one viewer stayed for just five minutes—asked no questions and didn’t even view all the rooms. It felt performative, not serious. As expected, neither viewer submitted an offer, despite supposedly being “pre-qualified and keen.” Eventually, I told HSD I wanted to withdraw the property. That’s when I was informed—shockingly—that I had unknowingly signed up for a 52-week contract, and I’d need to pay £1,500 to exit, or £999 if paid within 7 days. I wrote to them, acknowledged that they had done some work, and offered a reasonable £699 exit fee, explaining I needed to rent the home out due to financial strain. They refused and insisted on full payment. I paid the £999 immediately—but it still took a full week and several chasers before they finally removed the property from Rightmove. By the end of the ordeal, it was clear I was no longer a priority for them. In summary: Do I regret choosing HSD? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to someone looking for a fair, transparent, and professional house sale experience? No. If your only goal is to sell quickly and you don’t care about value, they might work for you. But if you want to sell your home at a decent price with a partner you can trust, I strongly advise staying away from HSD.

Can only assume this as they recommended I offer 15% above HR, or 31% above their advertised price for a property that had only been on the market less than 24 hours. And they wonder why the property market is an over inflated mess! Also had to view the property in the presence of other buyers who were very late, but still allowed to impede on our viewing. Wasn’t impressed!
