14th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.
17th Aug 2021 (2 years ago)Received a letter to say i was liable to pay cost towards a fence which is on my neighbours ground. The estimate from the companies clearly state who is responsible and my address is not on the estimate but they are trying to say it is on the title deeds. I called my solicitor yesterday morning who got back to me in the afternoon and told me it was absolutely incorrect, There is a communal pathway between the two properties and each property has their own individual boundary. Therefore not liable to help with cost of fencing. However my solicitor also told me that the fencing provided when property was built was wooden fence posts with 3 lines of wire to separate the gardens at the front this separation was between 26 and 28 and then a fence between 30 and 32 as there was no requirement to separate 28 and 30 due to pathway. At the back of the house each property had the same wooden posts with 3 wires strung across. Through time resident decided they wanted more privacy and they have all done this in different manors. IE. Hedges, fence panels and some installing brick walls all paid by the individual owner / resident of own property. This company has decided to take it upon themselves to pester residents which have been in their property for over 50 years to subsides their property owners bank account by telling them they need to pay up. I have already put up fencing in my back garden which has enhanced both my neighbours gardens without asking them to contribute to it. I have also had issues with this company as regards to the maintenance of the back gardens they are supposed to be managing over grown bushes,trees blocking out the light to my garden and damaging my garden hut. Which due to the trees and bushes have caused side of shed to be replaced due to dampness caused by the bushes that had grown wild and the roof had to be felted again due to the trees and leaves. I also have a job every year clearing up all the leaves which fall on my decking and the destruction caused to my decking which needs to be painted every year. I have yet to have an apology from the so called business with regards to this and for them to hide behind a title deed. I think they should check before trying to bully people out of their money.

22nd Jul 2024 (5 days ago)After a disastrous experience with a different letting agent in Kilmarnock who neglected my property and even charged me for decorating work which had not been carried out, (hint: around the clock), Shannon and her team came to the rescue with a prompt and efficient management service which was a breath of fresh air. They found me a tenant very quickly, and all is now up and running. I would definitely recommend.

7th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)PICK A DIFFERENT FIRM. NOT A GOOD SOLICITOR FIRM I had the unfortunate experience with Lynn Walker and Mrs Petrescu. They will give the worst advice for MAXIMUM PROFIT. Even MORE WORRYING to learn they are being paid to produce reports to the family court. This is the worst of the worst of legal aid fraudsters. GO elsewhere!!!!
2nd Mar 2024 (21 weeks ago)I emailed to request a viewing of a property that they had online. I received no reply. I then called the Troon office this morning, and had to leave a message, and still no reply. Not very good service.

2nd Jul 2024 (25 days ago)I used Jackie through a very, very tricky sale of my property as it was combined with a commercial premises. She had my best interests at heart and always fought for me. Would highly recommend she's the best.
5th Sep 2023 (10 mo. ago)Was so disappointed with the carry out as 1st time and got prices on line which apparently have not been updated ordered veg pakora chicken pakora and poppadoms and spiced onions £18.96 when I queried this she said it was 2 poppadoms and spiced onions it's not the best experience as the prices are very much more expensive 6.99 chicken pakora and 5.99 for veg pakora 2.99 poppadoms and spiced onions. Only exotic thing about this place is the prices. UPDATE After owners reply STILL no update on prices and as previously mentioned the poppadoms and spiced onions come together what they need to mention that a portion is 2 poppadoms broken up as when I ordered 2 poppadoms and spiced onions got the equivalent of 4 poppadoms at 5.98 so this needs to be clearer on the menu also as how many poppadoms do you need for 2 people.

17th Apr 2024 (14 weeks ago)They were fine when I first took out the rental, but since I terminated the lease they've been awful. Unresponsive to emails, delaying returning the deposit, for a different reason every time I call them about it. Really disappointed in their total lack of professionalism. They're not even showing any common courtesy, in fact they are downright rude now. Like many other reviews I fully believe they are trying to retain as much of the deposit as they can for as long as they can. Be very wary if you are thinking of renting a property from them, they're exactly the kind of shoddy business that gives estate and letting agents a bad rep.

They were incredibly helpful to me while I was managing the will and estate of an elderly relative who was suffering from senility and later passed away. Joyce was empathetic, understanding, and diligent throughout the entire process. Joyce's professionalism made a complex situation easy to understand and manage. She went above and beyond to ensure I understood every requirement, and her thorough and reliable approach ensured all key tasks were completed efficiently. She helped us manage Power of Attorney from Scotland with banks in Ireland, which could have been very challenging, but Joyce's professionalism helped me manage this seamlessly. Additionally, she handled paying suppliers, managing bank accounts across Ireland and Scotland, and comprehensive legal documents. If you need a solicitor who is compassionate, thorough, and highly competent, look no further than Joyce and Dallas McMillan. They truly exceeded my expectations and provided exceptional service during a challenging time.

No hard-sell of their service to me. Met all their promises/deadlines; kept me fully informed and understood the sensitivity involved. No hesitation in recommending Glow to anyone.
5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
