2nd Dec 2022 (1 year ago)Sandy Gorton handled the renting of the property and was superb from the word 'go'. He had people round, he chased up to see how interested they were and if they weren;t, why not. His communication with me was excellent. I was kept in the loop throughout the process and, quite honestly, he was like a Knight in shining armour. It did not take him long to find us a tenant and we are very grateful for his hard work, perseverance and charm.

21st Oct 2019 (4 years ago)Haart Stopsley were really good even though they were more expensive than other localling agents. My agent Brian at the branch was extremely helpful, making sure he always replied to any queries or questions promptly and efficiently.
9th Mar 2024 (10 weeks ago)Tracy and the team worked tirelessly to sell our house in difficult times. Out of the 3 quotes we received, Satchells gave by far the best price and sold it for more than the prices the other 2 agencies proposed to put the house on the market for. They worked quickly and had viewings straight away. They clearly have a fantastic network of buyers. They were brilliant and helped us tackle a number of challenging hurdles. If you want to sell your house, go with Satchells.
27th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)First Step used to be the go to agents in the local area, they seemed honest and transparent. From my experience this is a thing of the best with them. There are many agents in the local area now who are much better then First Step, they will look after you and are much more sincere. My advice would be, dont just go with them, give all the others the same opportunity, remember First Step excel in talking the talk, but once your signed in, they dont walk the walk. Think is all I advise anyone.

We met with Connor, Molly and Chris who all helped us through the purchase of our new property. If it wasn’t for them, we would not have managed to exchange and complete so so quickly. They were always really helpful with the hundreds of questions that we had (being first time buyers). Definitely recommend.

I had a change of heart literally the next day and they didn’t let me out. After that, communication was so so and I only got three viewings in the whole duration.
19th May 2023 (11 mo. ago)At the start Andrew who came to value our home spent the time with us to fully explain the current market and our house position in it. He put together and explained the marketing strategy in detail that they would adopt to sell our property which to us seemed to be the best put forward compared to the several other estate agents who also quoted for us. He was patient, polite but never pushy. On this we decided to go with Haart in Stevenage. After being blown off course by the change of government and their inadvisable mini budget and the rise in mortgage rates, which threw the maket into reversal from a seller's maket to a buyers market overnight, Andrew returned to help us re-market our property in order to get a sale. Marley, our sales negotiator, was always professional, pleasant, proactive and hard working in getting us a sale. Which with determination he did. Therefore, we would recommend Haart Estate Agents Stevenage to potential property seller's and buyer's.
16th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)Norgans have great knowledge of the Hitchin property market and whilst their valuation was markedly different from the other agents we approached , their valuation proved to be far more realistic . Excellent communication throughout the process despite deteriorating market conditions and a house close to the railway line that put off several viewers

2nd Mar 2019 (5 years ago)As an estate agent they have been really good property sold in two weeks and they helped with everything along the way. They are friendly helpful and offer good advice. I would say though the conveyancing is not worth the extra money nearly £2000 more than most the others and have not done anything spectacular to justify that additional cost.

2nd Jan 2021 (3 years ago)Generally very pleasant to deal with. Had to correct a few mistakes they made with the listing which surprised me. Also they initially had to be pushed to progress the sale. However the team were polite, informed me on progress when it was made and generally I was pleased with the overall experience. I was also slightly surprised that they require an up-front payment of £300 for photos that you only get back if they complete the sale. This was in contrast to all other agents.
