Unfortunately, several never returned my calls or sent me details of properties that didn't match my requirements.<br><br>Westley and the team at Morgan Alexander were completely different. They were always easy to contact, answered the phone promptly, and arranged viewings around my schedule, making what could have been a very stressful move much easier.<br><br>Their professionalism, communication, and customer service were excellent throughout the process. I would highly recommend Morgan Alexander to anyone looking to buy or sell a property
15th Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)We withdrew from a purchase through Cheffins after what became an increasingly pressured and unprofessional experience.<br><br>Throughout the transaction we felt repeatedly pushed for mortgage and solicitor updates beyond what was reasonable, including requests to contact our mortgage advisor directly. At the same time, important due diligence issues we raised — including arranging further builder access and investigating legal concerns relating to access land — were either delayed or met with pressure to proceed within arbitrary deadlines.<br><br>The final straw was being given a 24-hour ultimatum alongside an exchange deadline before outstanding legal concerns had been properly resolved. Our solicitor had identified issues requiring further investigation, yet we were still being pushed aggressively toward exchange.<br><br>Buying a property is stressful enough without feeling pressured or spoken down to. We were proceedable, financially strong buyers acting in good faith, but ultimately decided to withdraw and pursue another property where the process would be handled more professionally and collaboratively.<br><br>Would not recommend this agent and would never use again.- 6th Jun 2026 (7 weeks ago)Actively arranging and carried out viewing s.
22nd Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.
11th Jul 2026 (16 days ago)I did not sell with them I removed my property because in 10 weeks they got me two viewings and another who didn’t show. I had two emails from them during the whole time. Very disappointed and as for you, the fact you think I’d sold through them tells be enough!
9th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)We rented a place through abbotts at the beginning of the year, and the service we received when moving in was appalling. I’d like to note the property is fully managed by Abbotts, now i’m not sure if this is because we are first time renters, and they thought they could pull a fast one but the property had not been cleaned, there was still old cuttlery and food in the dish washer, cobwebs everywhere, pencil all over the walls, coffee residue all over the kitchen sides, to name a few! The Oven was broken, we had no hot water (which costed loads on electric) I had to pay a cleaner and we are yet to be compensated for any of this. Whilst we are still in the property and have now made it a home, I would not recommend this estate agency.

Friendly, organised, and kept us updated throughout, which made the whole process far less stressful than expected. From the very first viewing through to collecting the keys, she made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and incredibly well organised. She was professional, knowledgeable and always quick to respond to any of my enquiry’s or concerns. Her communication was excellent throughout, keeping me updated at every stage and making sure everything was in place for the move in. Her friendly and approachable manner really stood out to me.

4th Jul 2026 (23 days ago)I viewed some houses and ultimately purchased a house with Intercounty at the end of 2025 and they were brilliant.<br><br>They were friendly, honest and reliable. Ashley was excellent and worked efficiently to progress the purchase. He provided us with regular updates as well as honest, trustworthy advice and information.<br><br>When viewing, they had lots of information about the properties they showed us and were able to answer most of our questions there and then. They updated us quickly about anything they were unsure about.<br><br>Overall, I found them honest, open and reliable, and would use them again in future.

During that time various different staff have worked in the lettings department and I have always found them to be helpful and courteous in dealing with any issues I have raised, including maintenance of the property, negotiating any increases in the rent and finding good and trustworthy tenants.<br>At the time I was completely new to the property rental business and one particular member of that team has always stood out to me.<br>Louise Mooyer has been extremely helpful in answering any questions I put to her and advising me on a range of subjects including my responsibilities as a Landlord, Section 21 notices, the new Renters Rights Act and how best to market the property when I wanted to sell it, which I now have.<br>Louise is clearly very experienced in her field, with outstanding knowledge of the business and the local area. I have always found her easy to talk to and her affable manner is a real asset to this company. This team was professional, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to help us supporting us in tough times, when dealing with property issues was very stressful. Communication was always clear, and I felt supported at every step of my renting time. Dealing with Estateology, and with Sam, is a luck in London — where the qualities above are hard to find. Carl’s team along with Kat could not have done more and were full of communications and feedback and more importantly, genuine potential buyers. Within weeks we were under offer and our period of huge uncertainty drew to a close. I cannot thank Orchid enough. We were made to feel like we were their only customer.

14th Jul 2026 (13 days ago)Ensum Brown, and in particular, Gabriella, have been simply outstanding.<br><br>From arrangement of the first viewing, meeting Gabriella and viewing the property, through to arranging the tenancy, all the queries that came up in the interim and then moving day and beyond, the level of service has been exceptional.<br><br>Gabriella has always responded fully and clearly to all our questions (in a very timely fashion) and has supported us with each step of the process. Now that we’re moved in and had something further to query, once again the responsiveness and support have been great.<br><br>I have rented homes in a number of countries and had to deal with a good number of agents over the years. This has been by far the best experience.<br><br>Well done to the Ensum Brown team on setting such a strong example of how the industry should operate and once again well done and thank you to Gabriella.

We had a few problems (not caused by them) and they did all the work for us to iron out the problems and ensure that the sale went through. I cannot recommend them highly enough and great value for money too :) We will definitely use them again.

14th Jul 2026 (13 days ago)Willmott & Lake have been absolutely brilliant for us from start to finish.<br>We used them to sell a flat in Bishops Stortford, with the buyers solicitor making things VERY difficult.<br>Jack was patient, always helpful and went above and beyond to help get the sale across the line. Nothing was too much trouble, the communication was excellent throughout and I can’t thank him enough.<br>I would recommend Willmott & Lake without question!
