1st Apr 2024 (28 days ago)Worst people I had to deal with, honestly! I don't know how they're still in business. They don't even listen to what you tell them on the phone, their standard reply for everything is to fill their online form, so they can get back to you with a questionnaire, so you can fill in the questionnaire, so they can arrange a viewing. I tried to do this for a month, calling them every other day because I was not receiving their damn questionnaire (they refused to let me answer the questions over the phone), then they booked the viewing of the wrong property and forgot to cancel even after I told them over the phone that I was never interested to view that property. After a month of this hell, they finally told me the property was not suitable for pets (which was NOT on the ad). They're a joke!

21st Apr 2024 (8 days ago)Every time our viewing rate dropped they asked us to drop the price. We'd already dropped it twice and they were asking us to drop it again. They completely missed parts of the property off the advert and weren't willing to update the advert or update the photos in spring when the garden looked much better

But with Wright’s, I had my own flat within two weeks. They were efficient, helpful, organized, professional, and friendly. Louise was great and any time I needed help or had any questions, she responded almost right away. I would recommend Wright’s to anyone looking to rent a flat in the area.

23rd Apr 2024 (6 days ago)We decided to use Ashtons because they did very well selling a house for us 10 years ago. We had a positive experience then and achieved more sales price than other local agents advised. This time we were looking to let our property and the Ashtons lettings agent Colin Hickey was helpful, easy to talk with and professional from the start. He told us what he thought could be achieved and then went on to deliver. My phone calls have never been ignored, there has never been a problem getting through or expressing our viewpoints. Indeed I cannot fault the service but only commend. Very glad we made the decision we did. Happily recommend

18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Their professionalism, service, attentiveness, responsiveness and attention to detail is more than I ever thought I'd get from them as letting agents. They put in effort with viewings and found a great tenant for my house. I'd advise any landlord going with them. There is a reason why they have the best Google reviews of any lettings agent in Stevenage!

At no point did I not think he wouldn’t do what was right by me and also the buyer. His knowledge of the market and legal matters were particularly helpful too. James really cares about his clients and this is invaluable when going through something as big and often as stressful as trying to sell or buy a house.
