The whole process was smooth and we were kept informed of progress throughout. James in particular was excellent nothing was too much and made us feel at ease through the whole process. I would highly recommend them when it come to selling property

1st May 2026 (6 days ago)I recently bought a property in St Albans through Ashtons. The service and attention to detail I received was exceptional. From my original contact everyone that was involved in my purchase were professional and very knowledgeable. The initial viewings were very impressive with the agent well briefed on the properties. They also listened to my wish list and found properties that fitted my brief. They were very flexible with appointments and arranged second viewings seamlessly. Once I was prepared to make an offer Ryan in the St Albans handled the initial stage. He was professional, friendly and was always available to answer any of my queries. The purchase was then handed to Hannah in the Harpenden office and again the service she provided was second to none. It made the experience very straightforward and actually quite enjoyable! If you’re considering buying a property in St Albans I cannot recommend Ashtons highly enough. Exceptional service, amazing staff and the best Estate Agent I’ve ever dealt with. Thank you….I love my new home!!

23rd Apr 2026 (14 days ago)We have just sold our house with Chas Lowe having failed to sell over the course of a year with another, much bigger firm. We were glad we made the change. Our house had an unusual layout which doesn’t appeal to everyone. James immediately suggested several changes that made perfect sense and were implemented immediately. We soon realised that any estate agent can gather viewers but it takes resilience and a certain talent to get those viewers to buy your house. After sales, especially with tricky buyers , is where Chas Lowe earned their cut ten fold. Anthony was absolutely excellent. These guys clearly know their business. They are straight talkers and get the job done. We absolutely recommend them to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to use their services if we ever move home again.

From the outset Andrew took a genuine interest in my property and plans, and the photographs and brochure he organised were excellent. Andrew kept me informed at all stages and the dedicated WhatsApp group proved a very efficient method of communicating. A very friendly and efficient firm and I would highly recommend them.

They have guided us expertly through finding tenants and advising us on realistic rental income. Further, they have a team of honest and reliable trades people to help resolve any issues and as a team are extremely well informed, helpful and friendly. On the sales side, they sold a property for us very quickly and recommended solicitors making the whole process stress free and painless. It is the best agency in Harpenden.
