The property was continuously let throughout that time; Savills always found excellent tenants and provided first-class support, including when a complete kitchen refurbishment was undertaken. We were extremely impressed how both of them kept in touch regularly, always returned our calls, even making calls in the evening if necessary. Playing games, not fufiling contracts and Oliver and manager there were engaging in clear unethical service practices and disgusting customer services carried out. They represent an dodgy estate perfectly. Nothing else positive.

She is extremely personable and very good at her job. I have enjoyed each and every interaction with her - even when I was troubled, Ruby was full of knowledge and helpful advice for me. 4th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)We were kept informed at every step of the journey selling our property, everything went smoothly on the sale and the process of selling, it also helped a great deal with the solicitors being in house as they can liaise with each other without having to go through us regarding small matters, the team managed our sale and was also very professional and efficient, the person who valued the property was spot on and was instrumental in us choosing Connells due to their local knowledge, putting forward suggestions regarding the potential for the property also, it seems the company are very prominent in the area which I didn't notice until we started selling, there are Connells for sale signs everywhere in the area which is comforting to know, Thank you.- 28th Jul 2026 (16 days ago)We had excellent service from Satchells. 8th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)On numerous occasions I have returned their calls. They in return say they will call back ? So I call back, next time they are still at lunch 2pm. They promise to pass on that I am trying to return their calls. Nothing happens ?<br>They have very poor communication skills both with landlords and renters. I am just in the middle, and seldom hear back.<br>In the end for years ( 16 ) to be precise I have put up with freezing cold winds coming through my bathroom window, and they promised to speak to the landlord, over and over again. It was not before I held some of my rent money back I got a reaction, and 6 months later on, I eventually got a new window. Now I am fight for the next ones.<br>Meanwhile rent goes up. Maybe we have a public tribunal on our hands ? Out of the three different estates agents, this property has been rented out by, Leaders are the worse by far.

11th Aug 2026 (2 days ago)Estate agents sometimes get a bad press, but Ashtons in Hitchin have been just brilliant handling the recent sale of our house. They proposed a sensible pricing strategy which generated plenty of interest, arranged photography which showed the property to its best advantage and then efficiently handled the many enquiries and viewings. Once it was under offer (after only a couple of weeks), the team navigated us through to a speedy completion with professionalism and good humour. Couldn't be happier with their service, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
18th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)We arrived to this house purchase jaded by our experiences of trying to buy and sell over the previous year. Wellington Evans were the agent of the house we were buying and treated us with honesty, transparency and respect throughout the entire process. It was a breath of fresh air when compared to our experiences of more ‘traditional’ agents. Each step of the process was explained to us and we were supported right through to completion day itself. I cannot imagine how much smoother the process would have been if we had sold and bought from Wellington Evans initially. But, we are in and settled and wish to express our thanks to James and his team for their efforts throughout.
