12th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)I looked at so many houses, nothing was right and then I stumbled across a new property. A viewing was arranged quickly with the staff at Hunter French Frome. It was a difficult process for me, but Ben and his team did absolutely everything to help the process. Very happy to be in my new forever home.

The whole team are absolutely incredible but Jon, the owner, is just an exceptional person. They sold our house quickly at a tough time in the market, showed so much proactivity, care, sensitivity and person centred customer care that is rare in the modern world of real estate. John is one of the most joyful, sincere and personable people I’ve ever come across, and I felt the whole time, completely in the hands of a true professional who exuded humanity and care. I would urge anyone in the area considering listing or buying a house to go with this absolutely outstanding company who have held our hands the whole way through and enabled us to buy our dream house!

12th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)We had an awful experience renting our house for 10 years with Strakers when we lived abroad. Our home turned from a beautiful place with a “wow factor” into a filthy mess with tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage under Strakers watch. After 5 years they replaced a competent manager with someone with zero experience and no common sense who told us that the place was in very good condition. We returned to find a huge mess. The Strakers agent is completely incompetent. Avoid Strakers if you wish to rent your home!.png)

20th Jun 2025 (11 mo. ago)Complete disaster. Ruined my first time buyer experience. Messages were inappropriate asking to go out for drinks to celebrate and give me my keys. He got funny and defensive and told me I was ungrateful when I questioned why my property wasn't ready by the date he said it would be and that resulted in me being homeless for two weeks. Then I got the wrong keys two weeks later and it was late so I had to find somewhere else to sleep which also meant I had to delay my moving van because I had to arrange collection of correct keys in morning. I actually got my friend to get the keys because I felt too uncomfortable. It should have been exciting my first experience and Nest associates ruined that.
