23rd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Not brilliant at updates. Property sold within 3 days so maybe undervalued? All solicitor recommended by them turned out to be on line from wales so very difficult for updates. Money kept back without clear reasons why although eventually paid

31st Mar 2024 (2 years ago)If you want an estate agent who treats you as an individual, goes the extra mile to sell your property then use Sensible Move. Their rates are competitive as well.
29th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)Avoid this Lettings agency at all cost, they do not keep up to date with legal requirements for rental properties eg; provision of carbon monoxide alarms etc. Communication extremely poor or non existent. They will not repay your deposit back at the end of the tenancy. Had to get a statutory declaration signed by a local solicitor and sent to the Deposit Protection Scheme in order for the deposit to repaid in full.
27th Aug 2023 (3 years ago)Mel behaviour is very unprofessional and bites back when you don’t want to make an offer on a property. Offered a previous survey that she stated was really good, after a 4 day delay waiting for it having to ask three times. The survey has about £40,000 of repairs. She states “I feel really sad for you that you lose out, never mind” I’m disgusted at the behaviour.

6th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)I can't speak highly enough about Clever. They've exceeded all my expectations and have gone above and beyond. If all estate agents were this good, they wouldn't have a poor reputation. I'm delighted with their service, outstanding.
5th Oct 2023 (3 years ago)After my mother passed away we had to sell her house. I knew nothing about estate agents or the value of my mothers property but our daughter had recently bought a house via Mayers and said that they were good. We looked up and down the street and out of 5 estate agent boards that were visible 4 were from Mayers. So, with 1 personal recommendation and 80% silent recommendations we decided to go with Mayers. We weren't disappointed.
As an aside, during the selling process we had reason to meet our buyers. They also had nothing but praise for Mayers.
