So naturally, it wasn’t a great situation for us to be in.
We asked Connells to come and value the house so we could put it on the market. Sophie came out to the house knowing our situation and was professional, understanding and respectful throughout the whole process.
Connells found us a buyer very quickly. Although the buyer’s solicitors weren’t the fastest, Maddy kept us updated throughout and never seemed to mind me contacting her for updates.
Selling a house is always stressful, especially in circumstances like ours, but Connells made the whole process much easier and a lot less stressful than it could have been.
10 out of 10 in every aspect. I would definitely recommend them. 
13th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Had a really positive experience with Lara, who showed me around a property recently. She was friendly, engaging and really easy to talk to, but most importantly actually listened and took the time to understand what I was looking for.
She explained the application process and fees really clearly, answered all my questions and followed up exactly when she said she would. Having been to quite a few viewings recently, that level of communication and genuine engagement really stood out.
A real credit to the agency and genuinely lovely to deal with. Thanks, Lara!

24th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)After two years of trying with local agents in launceston, we decided to try Bop In Tavistock. Listed in June 2026, Sold moved out and completed In October 2026.
Professional, and friendly, approachable, spot on with everything from start to finish. When you phone them, they answer or get back to you, and they are on the ball with your transaction, it feels like you are their only one! They never need to be told anything twice, and have all the latest info and updates on your transaction, from listing to sales progression.
Highly recommend them, seriously give them a try !

I originally wanted to leave this review for Gemma Dolley, but as my sale progressed, I felt I simply couldn’t leave Carolina out. They have helped me in different ways, and both deserve recognition for the difference they have made throughout this process.
Gemma Dolley
Working with Gemma has been one of the most unexpectedly comforting and genuinely heart-lifting experiences I’ve had in the property world. I never imagined an estate agent could make such a difference, but Gemma truly does.
From our very first conversations, her warmth, kindness and sincerity stood out in a way that is incredibly rare. She didn’t just guide me through a stressful process; she made it feel manageable, clearer and, at times, even hopeful.
She has this wonderful way of making you feel seen, heard and supported. Never rushed, never judged and never treated like just another number, but like a real person going through a significant life change.
Gemma is endlessly patient, incredibly responsive and consistently goes above and beyond. She explains things gently, reassures you when you’re overwhelmed, offers honest guidance and always makes you feel that your needs genuinely matter.

Carolina
As the sale progressed, Carolina became another person I felt incredibly fortunate to have involved.
She has been absolutely exceptional. She regularly called me with updates, contacted the other parties herself, followed things up and made sure I knew what was happening rather than leaving me wondering. She also gave me practical advice about things I could arrange in advance, which helped enormously when everything became stressful and uncertain.
What meant the most was feeling that she was genuinely involved and genuinely wanted to help. I never felt that she was simply passing information from one person to another. She listened, understood the situation and actively tried to move things forward.
There were times when simply receiving a call from Carolina and knowing that somebody was actually looking into things made the whole situation feel much more manageable.
She combines professionalism and efficiency with genuine kindness and human understanding, and that is something you don’t forget.
I’m incredibly grateful to both Gemma and Carolina. They have each gone above and beyond in their own way and have made what could have been a very stressful and lonely process considerably easier.
They are both an absolute credit to Julian Marks, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
