Everyone I dealt with in the office was fantastic - efficient, professional, helpful - but Geoff in particular was an absolute star. Usually my experiences with estate agents are tolerable at best, but D. R. Kivell was a pleasure to work with, even when it got a bit rough at the end. I can't speak for the seller they represented, but certainly when dealing with us as buyers it was clear that they were looking out for her interests too, and they were extremely fair and up front throughout the process. If I ever sell the beautiful house they sold to me, they would be my first choice of agent. I can't recommend them highly enough.
1st Jul 2026 (12 weeks ago)Nick Jane and Emma Dark managed our sale. Savills’ fee was very competitive. Nick and Jane and their team were excellent, communicating at all points, constantly on top of events, making sure that all parties in our chain of 5 (!) properties worked at speed and together. We’ve moved a number of times, but this is the best experience we have had with estate agents. I have no hesitation in recommending the Savills Exeter team.
27th Aug 2026 (25 days ago)Very professional service. Questions and requests for information were dealt with quickly and efficiently by a knowledgable team. My wife and I would be very happy to use their services again. Staff who were particularly worthy of mention were Florence, Rachael and Sandi who were very patient and helpful during what has been a challenging and time consuming sale.
13th May 2025 (1 year ago)The Fee was higher than shown on the Get Agent website as they have a minimum charge, which the website failed to display. The gents service was very efficient and I would recommend them
3rd Sep 2026 (18 days ago)Just about to complete the sale of my late parents' house with Lang T&C (Plymstock) & I've been delighted with their service. The sale wasn't straightforward thanks to some family complications but they handled it all with confidence & professionalism. Paul & Natalie in particular were very pleasant to deal with. Their marketing, video & photography was well done & helped secure a sale at the right price in very good time, so I'm a very happy client. If I were ever buying or selling a property in the area again, I know who I'd go to first.

They appreciated that not only did I need to sell a house, but I also wanted peace of mind. They took away the stress from what can feel like a stressful process. Very happy to recommend them.
23rd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Not brilliant at updates. Property sold within 3 days so maybe undervalued? All solicitor recommended by them turned out to be on line from wales so very difficult for updates. Money kept back without clear reasons why although eventually paid

No matter what information we needed she would always come back to us within a very short space of time and if she didn’t know the answer she would put us in touch with someone who could.<br>Kandi was always efficient, friendly and reliable and was a great help in getting us to understand and complete the paperwork.

16th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Our experience with this estate agent was extremely disappointing.<br><br>Communication started off well, but the level of service quickly fell below our expectations. We were shocked to discover that the asking price of our property had been reduced without our knowledge or consent. We also felt there was very little proactive follow up with viewers who had shown genuine interest but weren’t quite ready to proceed.<br><br>Sadly, we came away feeling let down by the service and would not choose to use them again.

I knew nothing about estate agents or the value of my mothers property but our daughter had recently bought a house via Mayers and said that they were good. We looked up and down the street and out of 5 estate agent boards that were visible 4 were from Mayers. So, with 1 personal recommendation and 80% silent recommendations we decided to go with Mayers. We weren't disappointed. As an aside, during the selling process we had reason to meet our buyers. They also had nothing but praise for Mayers.

2nd May 2026 (20 weeks ago)We have sold two houses now through Fulfords Plymstock. Due to issues with our solicitor the latest sale was very stressful but Ian's years of experience shone through and he always put us at ease whilst pushing the sale along. The whole team is welcoming and friendly and always have a smile on their faces. If you are selling a house in the Plymstock area we highly recommend using Ian and the team.
