11th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)I arranged a viewing for the second of September and was asked to provide 3 months of bank statements and payslips, which I did straight away. The agent then asked me to pay a deposit, which I also paid. I was told I’d hear back once the landlord confirmed. Days passed with no updates. When I chased, the agent claimed he had emailed me, but no email ever arrived (even though I had received all his previous emails without issue). After further follow-ups, he admitted he may have sent it to the wrong person. Eventually, I was told there were “issues with the landlord” because the previous tenant hadn’t ended their contract and wanted to move back in. The only response offered was to refund my deposit no apology, no accountability, no alternative property. I got my money back, but the complete lack of professionalism and communication wasted 15 days of my time. Terry, if you are reading this, please understand how unacceptable this experience was. Future tenants deserve better than having their time and trust wasted.

3rd Sep 2014 (12 years ago)I will NEVER use this estate agency again to search for a property.We secured the property with the manager called Dawn by paying £450.00.She sent us our referencing documents which we were in the process of filling in.She also sent an email confirming we have the property subject to referencing.I therefore handed in my notice at my other property and found out a week later she had taken another group as they offered more money!!What is the point in a securing deposit when it is not used to secure the property.When I called the manager to discuss the situation she would not give me a chance to speak and spoke to me in a very agressive manner.Use another agency!

11th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)Not great - would not use again. Did nothing to find interested parties in first few weeks until I had to call a senior team member to complain... Not ideal - feel like they had too much work to handle mine at the time. Would have fathered they had just said they were too busy than wait too I was stressed and lost out on buyers.
3rd Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)We used sneddons to deal with the sale and purchase of our new property. Louise was fantastic, no question went unanswered extremely responsive and on the ball with everything she made the process much less stressful. Highly recommend.

31st May 2024 (2 years ago)There aren’t many estate agents in the area who know the local market like they do. I can’t thank their team enough for saving me a bundle and finding me a place therapy was great value for money, in the location I needed.
30th Jun 2023 (3 years ago)Cromwells were professional throughout but were affected by a slowing market due to increased interest rates. This meant that they were unable to get the number of anticipated viewings and were unable to sell my house. I took the decision to move agents to try and speed up a sale but Cromwells did get some viewings and their communication was good.

3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)We knew we were selling at a lower price but they found a buyer quickly and knowing there were no estate agency fees or solicitors fees brought the price closer to what we had hoped for.

The buyers that we had lined up for us were all interested in buying the property, but typical of today, not many had there houses on the market, but not a load of time wasters that I had with other agents in the past. Would highly recommend them,

22nd May 2026 (17 weeks ago)Booked a viewing for a property and was cancelled twice. Less than 24 hours before. With no rationale. When attempting to contact staff to speak about this, They were unable to give a response or contacted me
