I was very disappointed with the service of Pedder when selling my home. I was sold on the idea of using an agent with multiple local branches and "it would be marketed by all branches" but in reality it was just handled by the West Norwood branch. As market leaders, I expected them to be a lot more proactive - but they didn't appear to ever make any effort to actually sell the property. They didn't once provide a proactive update, they offered little/no feedback on viewings when I chased for it and did very little to deserve a fee. I tried calling one day to pretend to be a buyer and they weren't even aware of the property and had to scramble around to find details on it. They had about 10 properties on their books at the time for sale, which says it all about either lack of training or interest from the staff. Expected a lot better. Ended up doing the work myself and selling through an online agent based on this service from an allegedly top agent.... Read more
