Looking back, I made the mistake of assuming that using the estate agent selling the property I wanted to buy would make the process easier and quicker. It didn't. What I didn't realise at the time was how much difference the right estate agent can make. That difference was Hannon Holmes. From the very first viewing, Gill and Naomi made me feel comfortable, supported and valued. There was no pressure, no sales tactics, just genuine people who cared about helping both buyers and sellers through what can be one of the most stressful experiences in life. One of the best things they encouraged me to do was meet the seller of my new home. At the time I didn't realise how valuable that would be, but it turned out to be one of the most helpful parts of the entire process. It gave me confidence in the purchase, meant I had someone I could contact if I had any questions about the house, and we've actually become friends. Throughout the purchase, Gill and Naomi kept me informed every step of the way. I never felt like I was chasing updates or being left in the dark. They communicated regularly, explained what was happening, and genuinely cared about making sure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. What stood out most was that they saw people, not transactions. They cared about both the buyer and the seller. They listened, they supported, and they always made me feel like I mattered. Buying and selling a home can be overwhelming. There are moments of uncertainty, frustration and stress. Having people like Gill and Naomi in your corner makes all the difference. They are professional, approachable, honest and committed to getting the best outcome for their clients. If you're looking for an estate agent that will genuinely have your back, I would recommend Hannon Holmes without hesitation. I only wish I had chosen them from the very beginning. Thank you, Gill and Naomi, for turning what could have been a difficult experience into a positive one. Your care, communication and commitment did not go unnoticed. For anyone planning a move: do your research, read the reviews, and choose an estate agent that puts people first. For me, that estate agent is Hannon Holmes.

The team are all lovely, especially Alex who worked hard to assist us with some minor issues! Would definitely recommend to those renting in the Bolton area.

30th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)Terrible Customer Service - Avoid<br><br>We have recently sold our house through this estate agency and, unfortunately, it was one of the most stressful experiences we have ever been through.<br><br>To be fair, the initial stages were positive. The valuation was accurate, they generated a good number of viewings, and they successfully secured an offer on our property. However, once the offer was accepted, the level of service declined significantly.<br><br>When issues arose with our first buyer, we received little guidance or support. Our options were never properly explained, and we were not informed that we could continue progressing the existing offer while remarketing the property. As a result, we felt unsupported at a critical stage of the process.<br><br>Communication was a major issue throughout. We received very few updates and were frequently advised to contact our solicitor directly for information. This was particularly disappointing given that the company's website states that they will actively manage the sales progression, chase updates, and keep clients informed throughout the transaction.<br><br>What was most concerning was that they did not even appear to know our completion and moving date.<br><br>While the team performed well in marketing the property and securing an offer, the lack of communication, customer care, and support after the sale was agreed was extremely disappointing. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company.

They took my AML check fees and kept me waiting for two months, only to tell me that the owner no longer wanted to sell the property.<br><br>The whole process was a complete waste of my time and money. Communication was poor throughout, and I was left chasing for updates instead of being kept informed.<br><br>My experience with the agent, Paige, at the 16 Packers Street was especially disappointing. The level of service and professionalism fell far below my expectations.<br><br>I would not recommend this estate agency based on my experience.

Communication was clear and timely, and they kept me informed at every stage. They were approachable, answered all my questions, and made what could have been a stressful experience much smoother. I would happily recommend their services to anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent a property.
4th Aug 2026 (7 days ago)We rented with Belvoir Bolton for close to a year, from the initial viewing, where Charlotte gave us a thorough walkthrough of the property, through to living there, where Will handled day-to-day correspondence and Roger was always quick and efficient with repair queries. A huge thank you to all of you: the service you delivered was by far the best I've experienced, and I've rented through several letting agencies to date.<br><br>A special thank you to Will for his help with the move out process. He even came to the property to help me put up the curtains! And thank you to Roger for always staying on top of repairs and being clear and thorough throughout.<br><br>It was a pleasure to rent with you, and I most certaintly will be doing so again in the future.

28th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)Claves have been brilliant I along with my mum where executors to my grandmas will and estate and I had inherited her property which unfortunately I had to end up coming to the decision of selling the property. My mum had read the great reviews online for claves and I must admit at first I was abit hesitant only because it’s a newer company compared to the longer running ones but I was wrong we had multiple letting agents come out before and I didn’t feel like they were a match for us or were valuing the property at a reasonable value it seemed they just wanted it sold as soon as possible however when warren came out from claves we knew instantly this was the company to go with he valued the property at the price we wanted and was confident it would be sold pretty quick and it was as we had an acceptable offer within two weeks of it going up for sale with claves we accepted this and the house has fully been sold and everything completed also the pictures were absolutely brilliant and Marcus was great being in a freezing cold empty property for visits and Lynne was brilliant keeping us always updated and arranging all the documents and everything needed between us and the buyers I really couldn’t recommend them more everyone was always so helpful I will be for sure using claves again in the future<br>Thank you so much to warren, Lynne and Marcus and everyone else at claves !

The team were professional, helpful, and always on hand to answer any queries I had throughout the process.<br><br>A special thank you to Nicki, whose personable and customer-focused communication made everything so much easier. She kept me updated in a timely manner, was approachable, and always happy to help. I really appreciated her excellent service and would highly recommend Keenan’s to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive estate agent.
17th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
