We were delighted with the service from Cubitt & West. The initial assessments of the value, selling features and optimum marketing strategy were realistic, the details were made available promptly and the sales team (Vanessa in particular) were very proactive in encouraging viewings by qualified prospective purchasers. What really stood out, though, was the sales progression service, as both we as sellers and our purchaser were working to tight deadlines. I do not believe these would have been achieved were it not for Mark's very proactive approach.

Our experience with Cubitt and West was very poor, they were great until the rental contract was signed and then the relationship changed and we were treated terribly. We had to continuously chase them for maintenance and at one point threatened to have the washing fixed and send them the bill before they would do anything. When we moved out after nearly two years they tried all sorts of things to keep the deposit. They refused to reference the 'moving in inspection report' when conducting the final inspection and tried to bill us for things that were already damaged/broken when we moved in. We eventually went to the Ombudsman and won the case. We later found out the C&W had told untruths to the Ombudsman in order to keep some of the deposit. The approach C&W took was the same no matter who we spoke to, they seem to treat us a some third class citizen and they ignored our rights. I would not under any circumstance recommend Cubitt and West.
