27th Sep 2019 (5 years ago)Unprofessional, dishonest, complete luck of understanding of personal circumstances. Ryan was showing me the property and he was very nice and professional, however foe a week I was told that I would get the answer to my offer today. In stead of saying that they have lined up someone for a property Niamh has lied about not being able to get in touch with a landlady for over 10 days and suddenly when new people made an offer she was asking what my offer was and managed to get hold of the landlady (apparently she was trying every day, but how could she if apparently she didn't know what my offer was?!). I was lucky enough to find actually a better property with an estate agency who is in completely different league (premier) and Proctor (in Chatterton Village) doesn't belong to any.

Chose them because of the great coverage they have with many offices in the region. We had lots of viewings very quickly and secured a credible buyer faster than we anticipated. Overall we would happily recommend JDM Petts Wood.

27th Nov 2024 (7 weeks ago)AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have put 5 stars for the sole purpose of gathering everyone’s attention. I would give this company less than zero if I could it’s an absolute SCAM! Myself and several other customers have used this company to manage our property. The tenants have been paying rent but Oakwood estate agency has WITHHELD and REFUSED to release the payments to us as the landlords. When we call they refuse to direct the call to Daniel the owner of the business and he is always apparently out of office, they don’t reply to complaints and give no explanation as to why several months rent has not been paid to the customers! AVOID AVOID AVOID

(16 reviews)22nd Aug 2023 (1 year ago)If I could give 0 star, I would. Absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful, cheap & discriminative service that this agency provides. Home owners pay them to have a part of full service. The tenants will have to deal with their own reference checks etc. as the agency is washing their hands when it comes to doing anything that they are getting paid for. After being passed onto a referencing agency who couldn't do their job properly, (which I now believe happened in collaboration with the agent of DPR as they didn't want to give us the flat ) we've been asked to get in touch with a 3rd party agency to sort out the problem. Why would you use two 3rd parties to do your reference checks? Later on the agent made is seem like it was all our fault (that their agency couldn't reference us properly) and they ahed contacted the landlord and suggested him not to go ahead with us. In all honesty, you guys better make a call to Trading Standards as well - I reported them already.The more of us the better.
16th Jan 2024 (11 mo. ago)8 Years I had been living in a property managed by Lisa and her team. When we had any issues in the property it was dealt with the next day. We had regular tenant visits from Lisa and her team and nothing was to much for them. Only reason we left was because we bought a house. I wish them all the best.
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

I really want to thank the star and angel that is Amanda for tirelessly working to help us get our first home. There were times when we thought we wouldn’t get it but Amanda kept our hopes up and gave us an incredible amount of support. The house buying process (especially as first timers) is not easy but having this estate agents representing us made it a little bit more pleasant. Special shout out to Holly for jumping in also. Wishing you and the team at Anthony Martin Dartford all the success ????
13th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)No idea how this estate agent sells houses or if they only earmark properties they post for specific clients/buyers already known to the business. Very oddly run, you phone up and are put through to an admin team of sorts, never an agent. They will take your details and say they will pass it onto the agent who will allegedly phone you themselves, they won’t give you the agents details either so you have to just wait for this call. It’s been just over a week of me trying to view a particular property, phoned in multiple times to no avail. - Update, if you find out who the agent dealing with the property is, you can try find their contact details on the actual website, the lady I dealt with was actually sound & treated me the way I’d expect to be, like 90% of other estate agent companies would’ve.
31st Jul 2024 (24 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

2nd Oct 2024 (15 weeks ago)I was unable to sell my flat for around a year with the mainstream estate agents but on our third attempt we decided to go with Pullen estate agents and sold within 4 weeks. Tom was very helpful and communicative all the way through the selling process whilst also managing our sale on a personal level giving us the attention that we definitely lacked from other providers all for a very reasonable fee. I would 100% recommend using Pullen estate agents to anyone looking to sell their property in a swift and efficient manor. Thanks again Tom!
