I would like to thank and recommend KFH, Chislehurst. If you wish to sell a house in the Bickley or Chislehurst area they have an outstanding knowledge. We completed on our house last week. Susan and Giuseppe found us a buyer and spent many many hours talking and chasing everyone in our chain and I do mean everyone ! buyers, sellers, Solicitors and other estate agents. They held a difficult chain together while staying calm. If you are wondering if traditional estate agents are still needed with the rise of on line estate agents I would say yes for more high end properties. It was money well invested. Margaret Jarvis

With our property, we've been given an opportunity to view it very early (even before an advert was put online) which finally resulted in an accepted offer after 7 months of being on the market. So the experience of working with KFH itself was good. However, the solicitors recommended by the agency (Beverley Morris & Co) were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and UNBELIEVABLY slow. Following that advice was a mistake.

Thoroughly recommended. In a chain of four, KFH, not our agents, our vendors, were the most proactive by a country mile. We had a leasehold at the bottom and probate at the top and from offer to being in our new house it took 9 weeks and 1 day....and I can honestly say that might not have been so short if not for Laura's efforts. Many people are uncomfortable to leave a negative review with their names, however, our experience was so dreadful with this unprofessional agency that we would like to share it with others. The property we've recently bought was solely marketed by this agency so we didn't have a choice but to try and work with them. However, the whole office is unbelievably incompetent. First of all, your private details are handled carelessly resulting in us gaining regular access to their other clients' private data (both vendors and buyers) both via e-mail and postal letters. Think carelessly copied in e-mails from other clients, postal letters addressed to other clients attached to ours in the same envelope. Once could be a mistake but this happening numerous times via both methods raises serious concerns. Second, as we already had our mortgage sorted and our chain was very short and all freehold we requested the exchange date to be within 9 weeks from acceptance of offer (this is a perfectly acceptable amount of time) so we could avoid paying another 2.5 months of rental fee unnecessarily. Vanessa claimed that our request is impossible and set up the exchange date 10 weeks after the offer got accepted. Ironically, about 10 days before their chosen exchange date they started to harass us to exchange asap as everyone in the chain was apparently ready to sign immediately. When we refused to bring the dates ahead due to them being ignorant about our needs earlier we've been put under incredible and completely unnecessary pressure with their constant calls, e-mails (even to our solicitor to convince us!!) pushy attitude and agressive tactics. To the point, that I had to switch phone numbers for a week to avoid repeating ourselves the 10th time about our refusal of a last minute change of the date that they forced on us in the first place. And to the point that we got very close to pulling out of the whole purchase just to get rid of this horrible agency. No doubt, had we found another suitable property at that point we would have pulled out without thinking twice. Thirdly, despite all the stress they caused to try and bring the exchange date earlier last minute "due to everyone was ready", guess what.. on the named exchange day the exchange had to be cancelled due to the rest of the chain not even being ready with their paperwork. It's a wonder that the purchase actually happened in the end.

Being a first time buyer for us was a daunting process. Our viewing at the first property with Langford Russell was unfortunately not the one for us but Abbie our estate agent brought along other options that might of been of interest, in our preferred area and within budget. With no pressure from Abbie we decided to view another property she recommended and in the end resulting in being the one we purchased. From the offer being accepted till the day we picked up the keys Abbie and the rest of the team were very efficient, helpful and all round amazing with any queries all problems we had. Informative, dedicated to providing great customer service and making the whole experience of purchasing our first home and easy and exciting experience.

He went with me on few visits and was right on time and showed me round the properties allowing me to make up my mind and never pushing for me to commit myself. It was quite a long way to view the properties but engaged with me throughout going and coming. He even got to sell my property the second time after the first person pulled out.
