Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward - Beckenham

Albemarle House, Albermarle Road

Dan Chapman at KFH was outstanding and I wouldn't have moved without all his help. He was great at keeping me informed at all stages of the purchase and he took time to make sure everything went smoothly. First class service!

Paul Thomas

Don't bother with KFH. They really don't act in the best interest of the vendor. There are far better estate agents in the borough.

I am a landlady who has dealt with KFH in Bromley since MAY 2017. They are professional and very organised. They keep me up to date and well informed and I have found them to be very easy to deal with. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services

Shelley Levy

Great service from the agency itself and the agent Natalie Humm. The supporting department\company doing the checks of the potential tenant and the guarantor are completely out of touch and waste everybody's time by not asking for the relevant information in the beginning rather than keep on doing it step by step which is frustrating for all parties involved.

Streets Ahead - Addiscombe

Had an excellent experience with Marina Steel. We only met once on a viewing but she listened to my wants and needs from a property. She promised to email me the following day with some she had in mind and totally delivered, she had clearly tailored to what I needed rather than the approach that other agents often take. So much so that in that very email of properties tailored to my requirements, was the one I would go on to buy. So thank you for finding me my first home Marina! :)

One of the worst lettings agency. Property management is as bad as you can ever imagined - Unprofessional, lying. I rented a property from them and they haven't even cleaned the flat when I am moving-in. Inventory check hasn't happened. Flooring is plastered to cover the rot and boiler is broken. Had been chasing up the property management to fix the issues and they never respond. Heavily frustrating and fed up with their non-service. Never recommend this lettings agency to any one.

JDM Estate Agents - Petts Wood

36 Station Square, Petts Wood

Hi all, We are finally settled and have internet, so I'm catching up! Derek and I just want to thank you all for the sterling service you provided in the sale of our property. These things are inevitably stressful but you all made the pain manageable. Special thanks to Trish for the human approach to all our little obstacles along the way, it really helps to have someone in whom you feel you can have confidence, Katie and all the crew were always knowledgeable about the stage of play for us, they were helpful and responded quickly when we asked questions. So - onward! Here's looking forward to our new adventure! Lots to do here, but that'll keep himself out of trouble for the foreseeable future hahaha. Once again many thanks and our compliments to Lisa and Jeremy on the calibre of their operation, we won't hesitate to recommend you. Kindest regards Karen Longley

Terrible agency! Would not recommend!! They cancelled a viewing my daughter had 5 mins before it was due to start, after she had taken the day off work to visit the place. The staff are all rude and very patronising, especially the management!

Thomas Brown Estates - Orpington

285, High Street, Orpington, Kent

All staff are highly professional and have excellent customer support skills. The firm has excellent local knowledge of the housing stock. Impressive selling skills/techniques in comparison to others we experienced. The sale of our property had a couple of hiccups. They were very supportive and gave us sound advice. They have a dedicated member of staff with conveyancing background. She handled after sale chasing up of the parties for a smooth and speedy completion. She gave us weekly updates. Thomas Brown even gave us good advice when we were not buying through them! Really grateful to every single one of them.

Tara Swift

Very disappointed and shocked at how little communication there was; we had to ring them for feedback from viewings. We only had 2 viewings in 11 weeks! They promised accompanied viewings, but we had to carry out both of them. We could have done with more help and expertise considering we had not sold for 18 years but we were left completely in the dark floundering around like dying fish.

Bromley is a district of south-east London with good links to Central London and the rest of the country. This market town has its own diverse character and culture thanks to its local theatre scene, but also boasts great shopping and eating options for locals and visitors alike.

With rail links to London Victoria taking just 17 minutes, Bromley has become a desirable location for commuters working in London’s city centre who are looking for a family friendly suburban lifestyle.

The high quality of Bromley’s schools is one of the main reasons why families relocate to the area. There are a variety of well-established primary schools, secondary schools and academies to choose from, along with some great options for private education.

Bromley is one of the most rural boroughs of London due to its size and has a variety of gardens, leisure centres and sports facilities to explore.

Bromley's Housing Market

Bromley’s housing market is strong thanks to its close links to central London, with an average house price of £496,000. The majority of property sales in the area in the last 12 months consisted of flats, selling for an average price of £330,000. Terraced properties average at £431,000 and semi-detached properties average at £565,000.

In Bromley, properties are varied, featuring a combination of properties ranging from traditional Victorian and Edwardian homes to modern apartments. In the centre of Bromley, terraced houses make up the majority of houses for sale, while two and three bedroom properties in the Farnborough area are particularly popular with families and first time buyers.

Value for money can often be found along the A21 around Farnborough and Chelsfield, and cost effective properties can also be found throughout the centre of Bromley including Hayes and Bromley Common. Those searching for more desirable properties may wish to look further afield in locations like Sundridge and Chislehurst in the east and Elmers End and Eden Park in the west particularly in demand.

Bromley house prices remain strong, mainly due to its proximity to the financial and professional services in London's city-centre and the relative scarcity of properties for sale. This coupled with the desirability of the Bromley district has caused property prices in Bromley to rise quickly over the past 5 years.

Bromley Estate Agents

Those searching for estate agents in Bromley will find lots to choose from, and because the housing market is moderately competitive it is great for sellers, but do some research before settling on an estate agent.

Average property listings in Bromley run for 14 weeks, although this does depend on the type of property being sold and location.

GetAgent makes finding an estate agent easier.

Very helpful in arranging for 3 agents to come around and put their pitch for marketing our property. Having them as an intermediary made the process...

A very good comparison website

A very good comparison website for checking local estate agencies. We used it to check who have sold the most in our area and the results were very useful to us.

Danielle

Easy to use.

Very quick service, within an hour I had my valuation set up with 2 different companies. Saves time as well as you don't need to trawl the internet.

Mrs susan fletcher

It really helped my decision making

There are so many estate agents to choose from but they provided details with the numbers of houses each had sold in my area and which had achieved the asking price which I found most helpful

Mrs Heather Marshall

Choose the right agent for your house.

An amazingly easy way to choose your estate agent with total confidence. I did and among the many found the right one for my house. Speedy, responsive, considerate and effective. Thank you.

Ms Jean Bywater

Quick and straightforward

Good easy to understand info. They even got the agents to contact me, so I didn't need to chase them.
