Our house was on the market for almost a year (with a short break) with another agent, we then put it on with Syd and we had multiple viewings and offers within a couple of weeks. Instead of just waiting for enquiries, we felt that RA Bennett were proactive and would actively sell our house to potential buyers that hadn’t specifically enquired about our property. We were really impressed with the communication to keep us in the loop, and viewing feedback was provided on the same day, or next day. They were all super helpful throughout the entire process, especially Syd, Mia and Naomi.
6th Oct 2026 (24 days ago)Far more than just a local estate agent in the Cotswolds area, Murrays punch way above their weight and run a first-class operation that matches buyers and sellers with remarkable precision. A buyer for our cottage was found pretty quickly from their list of quality clients, but the subsequent sale process was far from straightforward - listed buildings (as most are in Painswick) throw up all sorts of complications, such as missing consents & permissions that cut-price conveyancers pounce on with glee. James Murray and his colleagues displayed infinite patience, charm and diplomacy to keep the sale on track. Thanks to them the unncecessary legal obstacles were overcome and our sale went through for a good price in a weakening market.

Raph took care of me through the whole process and was very supportive through some conveyancing complications. Having dealt with a lot of local agents while viewing properties, Murray’s from first contact felt the most professional & attentive. I instantly felt in safe hands and was very happy they had the property I ended up going for ! Which is no surprise as they always represent the most gorgeous properties in the area. Thanks Murray’s , would 100% recommend and will return when it comes to moving on without a doubt.

12th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)12 of us stayed at 1 Summer Lake, the house was absolutely amazing! Considering there was 12 and a toddler there was plenty of room. The bedrooms me lounge were great and the outside space was fantastic. The house was walking distance to various pubs, villages and the water sports centre making it an easily accessible place for everyone to enjoy. The lake was great for paddle boarding and the wrap around decking and hot tub made a great spot to enjoy the views. Perfect place for a large family get together, we really didn’t want to leave.

22nd Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)When choosing Avon, communication between myself and Avon, and between Avon and potential buyers was top of my priority. The director was great and didn't great sales pitch. After that communication wasnt great, messages between staff weren't passed on. Information of who to contact after agreeing a sale wasnt clear and the 2 viewers who made offers came after my husband showed them around the house. All in all not the best experience from us. The team however are always polite and friendly.
