14th Oct 2025 (9 mo. ago)Tried selling a flat with them and it was a drawn out and painful process. It lasted more than a year before it fell through. Going with their contractors and solicitors was the biggest mistakes I made in the sale. I thought if I went with their recommendations, they will facilitate the process, but no. One was dishonest and the other one completely incompetent. Stuart Edward was initially responsive, but then when run into problems months down the line, Lindsey stopped answering calls and the boss Stuart did not call back when messages left. I was left on my own to deal with all the technicality and mess. It was so horrible and stressful, I do not wish it on anyone. Two stars was being very generous as they were ok initially. I went with them because I wanted to support family business. Never again.
2nd Mar 2019 (7 years ago)We are student at Durham University and we decided to rent a house. I called the estate agent and they agreed to send us the agreement and everything to rent this one house that we really liked. We were supposed to arrive a week later to submit the forms and pay deposit. When I got the papers, they confirmed with us that the house would be definitely be reserved for us. However, the morning we were supposed to hand in the papers, I got a short, badly articulated email saying that the property was no longer available and that we should look somewhere else. No explanation, nothing. We were angry because student accommodation is competitive and we lost so much time waiting for this house. Upon emailing them multiple times, they finally said that the previous tenants decided to stay for another year. Didn’t they confirm with the current tenants that they would be moving out? Why would they even list the house if that was an option? .Why send us the agreements and everything? They didn’t even bother trying to find us other options that we could stay at instead. All and all, I would never use this agent again because their service is absolutely terrible

12th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)They don’t do repairs on houses took 3 months last year to repair a hole in the roof and now they are avoiding more repairs damp in the house and they do nothing!

From start to finish the process was very smooth, with clear guidance along the way. I would recommend Drummonds to anyone going through the process of buying/selling a property.

Right from the very courteous and professional first contact, through to the final stages, I could not fault them in the slightest. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and gave excellent advice. Given all the work they did, I regard their fee as very reasonable. Going with them as my agent was the best decision I could possibly have made.

26th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)2 viewings one offer £40000 below asking price which was set by agent as realistic then they said it was probably too high. Also I take offence to their Facebook posts that state everything they touch turns to sold! When clearly it does not.

From start to finish Scott and the team provided exceptional, professional assistance in every aspect of the process and were patient and understanding with my queries, explaining what comes next and breaking down the jargon into layman's terms, going above and beyond to support and reassure me through to completion. I am also very thankful for their recommendations for local, reliable contractors. A valuable extra that has saved me a lot of time and potential worry. Fast replies to emails, great communication, friendly and helpful staff, working with you and for you all along the process ensured me that my custom was valued and important. A genuine independent, local business with traditional customer service values, packing a professional, contemporary punch that gets the job done. Would absolutely recommend. 10/10

Within two days I received an offer of the full asking price. They worked together with my solicitor to ensure the sale went through smoothly without any hitches. All the staff were friendly and super helpful, I definitely recommend Ingleby Homes to anyone who is looking to sell their property,- 19th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Managed four of our properties in the Bishop Auckland area over a number of years. Communication has always been excellent, and everything has been handled in a professional, efficient manner from start to finish. Whenever any issues came up, they were dealt with quickly and with minimal hassle for us as landlords. Reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend there services to anyone looking for a trustworthy property management company

17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Lived at a beautiful 6 bed student house by the allotments with uni friends and had the most amazing year. The house was even better than when we viewed it and Evenmore were very transparent about any changes that had been made eg new flooring. Their new app system is brilliant, but I would also phone them to ensure any emergencies get delt with immediately as they are super responsive over the phone. Whenever I called, it was always answered within seconds, and everyone was super helpful and kind. The maintenance company they work with are also fabulous, working very efficiently with no fuss and very discreetly/ not requiring our input. The landlord for our house was also very generous and supplied new smart TV when ours broke, new faster broadband, and a new bin. I couldn't reccomend them more!
