Zoe, James and Mark were consistently helpful, professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. Their customer service was top-notch, making us feel well-supported every step of the way. Special mention to Zoe, whose exceptional people skills made a real difference. She kept us informed at every stage, ensuring we felt comfortable and confident in all our dealings with the process. The entire team made what could have been a stressful time feel smooth and straightforward – this includes the extremely efficient and helpful telephone staff that often took our calls and reassured us. Highly recommend Brown and Co for anyone looking to buy or sell – they truly go above and beyond.

8th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

It is without doubt a very cool and difficult market but through collective endeavours, positive input and ongoing communication we achieved success and selling above what was anticipated. 14th Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)helen shelley and rhiane were very helpful and always pleasant and confident my mums house would sell even when i thought otherwise thank you- 6th May 2026 (8 days ago)We bought our home through WH Brown Hatfield, we were looking for a number of months and went in many viewings with them and other agents, we made offers on several homes. These guys were by far the best, very professional, but friendly as well. We did many viewings with Courtney, who got to know us and the children and what we wanted. Beth & Victoria were also great throughout the process, and if Becca and Courtney were not around, they could answer our questions and never tried to fob us off. Many other agents were extremely difficult to get hold of, never returned calls for viewings or offers, and were outright rude. Becca was amazing at chasing up the solicitors and making sure everyone in the chain was pulling their weight, and responding in good time, even if it was her own seller that needed a gentle nudge. These guys struck the balance between working with buyer and seller perfectly. If we had a house to sell here, I would undoubtedly use these guys.

Theresa was an absolute star and nothing was to much trouble. She explained things to me and really helped to get completion on the property quickly and effectively.

9th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.

Communication was always clear and efficient, and any queries I had were handled quickly and professionally. It’s refreshing to deal with a team that are both organised and approachable, and who clearly care about providing a high standard of service. Everyone at Jigsaw has always been helpful and easy to work with, which made the whole experience very smooth. Myah especially was a pleasure to deal with but the whole team are amazing. A big thank you to the entire team, I would highly recommend Jigsaw Estate Agents to anyone looking for a reliable and professional agency!

1st May 2026 (13 days ago)We were buyers, and found the staff at Mallinsons easily contacted, very helpful and knowledgeable about the properties we were viewing and when we came to purchasing a property, very good at following progress. When we went to collect the keys to our new house, we were delighted to receive a welcome hamper of prosecco and Yorkshire goodies.
