7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)We used the Jackson-Stops team in Shaftesbury to market our house recently and we are so glad we did. Their approach from start to finish was excellent in every way. We were particularly impressed by the care they took over the photographs and presentation of the house, and by the fact that the whole team came to see the house before it was listed, to ensure they all understood the property's features and selling points. The pre-sale advice we received was relevant and helpful. The team achieved a very good sale for us during a difficult market period and helped us negotiate a final price we were more than happy with. Overall we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone with a distinctive property to sell and seeking a first-class estate agent service.

29th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)Spencer's maintained an excellent partnership throughout each n every enquiry from commications to negotiations to finalising Exchange and Completion dates. Losing the first chain to a developer pulling out at the exchange jaws was a setback but did not reduce the optimism of the Spencer's team if Mark, Will, Matt, Abigail and Christy. The market experienced a slight reduction at this time with a slowing of demand so we reviewed our sales strategies and felt a price reduction was necessary. Ultimately this tactic proved very successful, with the Spencer's teaming finding many potential buyers with many offers as one proved very satisfactory to a successful Exchange date after many delays along the way, with Spencers assisting in chasing Agents, Buyers, Solicitors along the way Thank you for your excellent service you provided to us; potentially the Best Estate Agents in Dorset.

20th May 2026 (4 weeks ago)Arranged to view a property, (which I did go and view), I liked the property and asked if i could give a holding fee. The reply was, 'Go away and have a coffee and think about it.' Well I had thought about it and I wanted to give a holding fee as soon as possible. The lady I spoke to, Victoria had an awful attitude on the phone. She asked me in a very disrespectful way to stop calling and emailing as she will get back to me. I was only calling and emailing as I wanted to hold the property. She told me that she has to contact the landlords and would get back to me the next day. What they seem to do is present the landlords with a selection of possible tenants, and then the landlords 'chat about it overnight' to decide who they 'like the most'. Which in my opinion, is discrimination. Also the agents, don't get back to you very promptly with the outcome. Had to call and email multiple times and felt as if I was harassing as I was told previously to stop calling and emailing. I was disheartened as I really wanted to rent the property and felt like I was overall, discriminated against. Its like your auditioning for the x-factor for goodness sake! Overall, very unprofessional, would avoid at all costs, rude staff and not helpful.

The staff have always been easy to talk to, understanding, and efficient in handling any concerns. It’s reassuring to know there’s a reliable team behind you, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them
22nd May 2026 (29 days ago)This is the most unethical and rip off maintenance company I have ever come across. Their ridiculously inflated fees, constant charges for letters, lack of flexibility, lack of ANY ACTUAL maintenance, have forced me to start my own maintenance company and all of the residents in the building of flats have verbally agreed to sign a petition replacing them. If I could turn back time I would have never purchased a property that is build on their land. It’s disturbing that they are legally allowed to continue operating.

The office always return my call and are happy and courteous. Everything is just nice and easy. Steph keeps it all ticking along nicely and I’m really happy to be using them. Highly recommend when needing property rented or sold in or around Wimborne.
