12th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)At the end of tenancy, they don't respond to emails regarding the return of the deposit, TDS also didn't get any response from them , poor communication and poor service , not what you'd expect after renting from them for over 10 years . Avoid

I have appreciated all the support that I have been given as I do not live in the area and relied completely on their services. All admin, selection process was handled very efficiently. This was an emotional house move but all the staff handled it so sensitively. Although I mainly dealt with Julie who was great, I had dealings with most of the staff at one point or another and they are all wonderful. I have no hesitation in using them for your house sales or purchases. Five star!

18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Right from the time and attention they gave to the initial valuation, taking the photographs to putting the house on the market. They provided regular updates and were always quick to respond.
