24th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Its a difficult market for selling. Properties are listed in abundance with valuations perhaps starting too high. Buyers are few and far between which meant that we had only 4 viewings over the same number of months. Every viewing is therefore critical and needs your agent to be fully appraised of features and any questions answered. Initial valuations versus actual market sale price need to be considered carefully.
25th Aug 2026 (27 days ago)My friend and I were discussing the sale of his property and I did a quick valuation check which emailed my details to connells. The following day I got a call asking if I was interested in selling. No problem, I explained the situation to a very nice guy and asked that I be taken off their system as the house was not mine, if my friend wanted help then he'd get in touch. 1 week later I have had 8 calls, from different connells members asking the same darn thing. Don't listen, won't take a hint.

The reason for our choice was, in large part, because, on Luke's first visit, he had clearly researched the property in advance, and then gave both a quantitative and qualitative basis for his recommended asking price.<br>Throughout the sale process, Luke and his colleagues were very supportive. They kept me informed of progress, liaised with my conveyancer and were responsive and helpful whenever I had any questions.
12th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)Very little communication. Took 2 weeks before a for sale board was erected. Property particulars were wrong. They told us that we had not been very accommodating to allow people to view. There were no viewers!
