27th Nov 2024 (8 days ago)I'm writing this review on behalf of my Dad who would highly recommend Castlebrae Estate Agents. He was super impressed by the professionalism shown and the responsiveness to all his communications from Lynn Maxwell from initial contact to the day he moved. It was an incredibly hard decision for him to sell his much loved family home after 3 decades and part with the memories but it was the right decision for him. Finding the right Estate Agent was important, and Lynn guided and reassured him at each stage and when the house went to market the video footage and photos were incredible and really showed the house in its full glory. Feedback from potential buyers was prompt and the house sold in perfect time to a lovely family. My family even commented a few times that they were glad Lynn was taking care of our Dad with the sale of the house and we don't think this would have happened with any other estate agent. Thank you to Lynn for everything she did and for going over and above to ensure everything was as seamless as possible.

1st Nov 2024 (5 weeks ago)Very unprofessional. We are due to remortgage, agreed on a face to face appointment. The day before both of us received several messages, phone calls to remind us and to confirm if we were still ok to go. When we arrived and told why we were there we were told it should have been a phone appointment as the mortgage advisor was not even there. No, it should have been a face to face meeting as the confirmation email stated.
18th Jan 2024 (10 mo. ago)I was initially sceptical about placing our property on the market in October however, the reassurance from Gavin and his team quickly erased any doubts and the first class presentation which included over 50 stunning photographs of the house resulted in a sale after only two day's of being advertised. A first class service offering extremely good value and advice and one i couldn't recommend highly enough.

30th Oct 2024 (5 weeks ago)Bought a flat recently through Slater Hogg and the whole process went very quickly and smoothly, everyone in the office was lovely and happy to see me every time I popped in to the office and Catherine and Nicola were fantastic helping me through the process of getting a mortgage and purchasing the property, I highly recommend!

We decided upon Your Move because of the professional and reassuring manner by which we were dealt with. The process from start to finish was seamless and we were impressed that our points of contact was limited to Lisa and Fiona, both of whom were always aware of our current situation. The flat was visited by Lisa and she was clear in her expectations in regards to a suitable tenant and this was reflected in the viewers. We were delighted with our tenant who we feel meets our expectations. The main point in any review is whether we would use Your Move Falkirk again and we happily would do so,

25th Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)They’re horrible after end of tenancy. They ask hell lot of charges for cleaning. It looks like harassment in the name of cleaning. Their cleaners quote different amount before end of tenancy but after your tenancy will end this gets inflated to exorbitant amount. Please avoid them . You’ll get email from Louis after end of tenancy and would never come back with clear communications.

18th Mar 2024 (8 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Everything was explained clearly and we were kept fully informed. The team are friendly and very efficient. Our property sold quickly, probably due to the team knowing the market well. Highly recommend the company.

This is now out 2nd house sold by Andrew and his team. I would absolutely recommend over anyone else. I have used other estate agents but Avenue Road go the extra mile every time. 5th Jul 2024 (22 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
