Phoned up on a Wednesday afternoon to view a property in Newcastle and was told that the only available slot was noon on the Friday. My husband and I rearranged another appointment, took the day off work and travelled the 1.5 hour journey to Newcastle (we explained at time of booking we weren’t local). 15 mins before scheduled time we got a phone call from the agent to say they hadn’t had a confirmation from the vendor but they were usually in. But guess what - agent turned up and couldn’t get access as there was no one there. Didn’t really apologise - just explained that they thought they had an offer but it fell through so they didn’t confirm our viewing. Totally unprofessional.... Read more
