Provided a great service and personal touch, I used them 3 years ago when I bought a house and did not hesitate to use them again this time. Taylor Robinson do care about the people as well as the sale and it shows. A very good estate agents.
Thoroughly unprofessional service from start to finish. We had been in the process of buying and selling a property through Taylor Robinson. We discovered that ourselves and everyone else in the chain had been misled in an attempt to secure the sale(s). Very naive to think we would not have found out. Pity really as it’s such a difficult process when selling and buying your home and you have people like this trying to take advantage of you. Don’t be fooled by the low fee option!

I have both rented out and sold a property through Greenaway Residential and I cannot recommend Simon and his team enough. They were so helpful with all aspects and I couldn’t have asked to have dealings with a better estate agency. With regards to renting out a property through them, they found me nice tenants quickly and ensured my property was kept nice and that the rent was paid. In terms of selling through them they photographed my property amazingly and gave great and honest advice achieving a quick sale for a price I was pleased with. They recommended an amazing solicitor also. Communication from Greenaway is outstanding and I have always found them approachable. I would not hestitate in using them again or recommending them in the future.
I rented a house with Greenaway Residential for two years. I continue to have nothing but good things to say about Simon, always very friendly, professional and ready to help. Everything was fine in the beginning, really helpful when we sign the contract and help us with the references and kept us informed.
Throughout these two years we had several problems. When something in the house needed to be fixed it did take a while for them to send someone, I understand in this situations it also depends on the landlord but the communication could have been better. My experience with Greenaway started to decline when the landlord decided to sell the flat and we started to feel a huge pressure to allow all the viewings no matter the time which was difficult since me and my housemate both work as cabin crew and we have different schedules than a normal job. They were not understanding nor helpful. We sent emails notifying them of the weeks we couldn't have viewings but it happened that someone came anyway without informing us. Another similar situation happened when they booked a viewing with a potential buyer and no one showed up and asked us if it could be my housemate showing the house to the person. The worst thing that happened was when Raj decided to go to our flat for a viewing, without our confirmation, when we previously said we did not want any viewings without one of us present, and after that he locked the house using the wrong door lock so when I came back from work I couldn't get inside my house. Fortunately Simon was available to help me. We never got an apology from Raj and even later on we was never pleasant on his emails. At the end of the tenancy they continued not being flexible or understanding at all. Even returning the keys was a problem since they kept changing the arranged time (three times) even 15 minutes before the scheduled time. I do recommend Greenaway if you are a very flexible person without a job ready to meet all their schedules because they won't try to meet yours, and hopefully you'll be lucky enough not to deal with Raj. It was a shame because I really had high regards of Greenaway after signing the house contract. Unfortunately it only takes one bad employee to tarnishes the reputation of the agency. Overall it was just a very stressful experience.
Gemma I just wanted to say thank you so much for making sure the sale was done so swiftly and without any hitches. I would certainly recommend Northwood to all my colleagues in Crawley and Gatwick.
these guys a thieves, been with a different letting agent for two years now, no pointless yearly fees like these guys do, my rent hasn't increase once, Northwood increased my rent yearly, when I moved out I left the house spotless probably just as good or better than any cleaning company would have left yet they charge you if you don't use one, AVOID!!!!
Excellent company to deal with and their photography, videos and general presentation sets them apart from their competition.
Do not use! I used Ralph James for the 1st time 3 years ago when I purchased my property. I thought they were quite good then but to be honest I was a straightforward buyer with no chain. I decided to sell last year so approached Ralph James, however they were not being competitive on price and would not price match claiming they were so good. I used another estate agent but then switched to them. After 4 weeks and not a single viewing I gave them 2 weeks written notice. They contacted me and asked I didn’t go elsewhere but I stood by my decision. Bizarrely a viewing came through the door just days later and this person made an offer which I excepted. And then I began! Nearly 4 months later my solicitor discovered that the buyer did not have a mortgage. This went on for months and I had to change estate agent then because I couldn’t trust them and needed to try and find a new buyer. Several estate agents in the area contacted me having seen my property go back on the market and asking what happened. When I explained everyone said, ‘did Ralph James not check that the buyer was able to get a mortgage!’ Clearly not!
Ralph James explained that “yes they were naive”.
Being naive lost me a house purchase, along with nearly £7k. I had to fight to not lose this. I am also pregnant so trying to set up my family home and thanks to Ralph James this has caused me immense stress.
In December they contact me and just before Christmas a valuation was conducted and apparently the buyer still wanted to purchase my property. Then came Christmas and the New Year. I visited Ralph James in the New Year and was told the same thing, the buyer is proceeding and is nearly there.
We are now in March and I have heard not a single word from Ralph James, no phone call, no email, nothing.
I’m sure you agree that this is very unprofessional and a mess they left me in.
I’m now 7 months pregnant and still not moved but lost a load of money!
DO NOT USE THEM!!
We have just let a rented property through choices for my dad. We delt with jack who was fantastic right from the start. Constantly updating us with what’s happening and keeping us in the loop throughout the whole process. It’s taken 2 weeks from start to finish and we even had a call once my dad moved in to ask how the move went. Thank you jack for being a fab estate agent! The property is lovely and the whole process was stress free.
WORST AGENCY IN THE UK. I moved from my country with a signed contract to move into a house. When I arrived there, I couldn´t go into the house because of fire risk and I had to pay for an hotel myself for 11 days until they get me another home (lot more expensive than the one I had the contract with). After all this, they haven´t been helpfull at all with trouble caused at home. And they let your landlord go inside your house once and again without letting you know they´re going.
