The presentation of the property was second to none, and you get a real feel for professional company that you are dealing with. Their communication has always been fantastic and they are very friendly and approachable and honest which is unusual with estate agents. Adam and Corrie deserve a huge pat on the back! The sale has gone through extremely smoothly with them and it felt very personal dealing with them. They are genuinely happy to help and give advice. Highly recommend them for that more personal service! Thanks again guys!!

The communication has been excellent, Alex has been helpful, professional and responsive throughout the process. Tina who did the viewings also very helpful.<br><br>Although the purchase has not completed yet,I have appreciated their support and assistance so far and hope everything continues to go smoothly through to completion.<br><br>Would definitely recommend based on our experience to date.

We absolutely loved the property and decided to proceed with the holding deposit.<br><br>Sophie then handled the next stage of the process and has been equally helpful, professional and efficient throughout. Today, we received confirmation that the property is officially ours to move into, and we honestly couldn’t be happier!<br><br>Having rented properties previously, we can honestly say we have never experienced a process that has been so quick, straightforward and stress-free. Everyone we have dealt with has been friendly, professional and genuinely helpful, which has made what can usually be a very stressful experience incredibly easy.<br><br>A huge thank you to Simon and Sophie for making the whole process such a positive experience. 1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

4th Mar 2026 (6 mo. ago)I had mixed personal reviews prior to my contacting Dourish and Day but I will NOT using them to sell my property as I'm appalled at the "it's not my job" attitude. I will be contacting the estate agency that sold my parents bungalow as they were proactive and cheaper fees! They refused to let myself, or my property agency, know the date/times of Dourish and Day availability for a valuation so an appointment could be arranged with my tenant. They also refused to make ONE phone call and contact the tenant directly as Dourish and Day had misunderstood what my tenant had said upon initial contact. My agent informed me that they have tried making contact but are awaiting a response from Dourish and Day which Dourish and Day have denied. When I requested an update this is the response "We will not move forward until they call us with the tenants availability for us to attend as it is their responsibility to clear things with them."

Adam stood out from day one: professional, knowledgeable and hands-on. He attended nearly every viewing, provided immediate and constructive feedback, and made subtle but very effective changes to our marketing. His communication was excellent — evenings, weekends, and helpful voice notes — which worked perfectly for us with work and young children. He genuinely went the extra mile, even attending our home to allow surveyors in when we couldn’t. Adam guided us not only on the sale but also offered great advice for our onward purchase. His attention to detail, enthusiasm and commitment made the whole process smoother. We’d absolutely use him again and highly recommend him.

Within 15 minutes of it going live I had my first appointment.. second viewing appointment for the same day within 40 minutes both for the same day! I literally can't believe how efficient they are! I would totally recommend them! From the media presentation to speaking to staff on the phone it's been absolutely faultless!!!
