26th Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Since the last two months I have been marketing with Carringtons only three viewers view the place and nothing happened as the results and I have reduced the price twice still nothing happened . I am going to change them or add another estate agent to get involved .
28th Jul 2022 (4 years ago)Very sadly, I entrusted Michael Bennett of BestGapp with the letting of my property. A security key was given to an un-Named tenant whose background had never been properly checked, and who appears to have lived at my property in addition to the Named tenant. I discovered my property was seriously dilapidated after only 3mths when I initiated the Q1 inspection that Michael had failed to. After refusing to either act in or represent my interests at all, I was obliged to fire BestGapp. Tenant left, but - yet again in breach of the AST and apparently on the advice of Michael - failed to professionally clean the property, having also taken belongings of the property. BestGapp have held a lien over the deposit that I paid them to register at the DPS against my property and have refused to allow the DPS to adjudicate, which I believe to be illegal (criminal). A hugely stressful, distressing and time-consuming experience that BestGapp have ensured through their adversarial conduct cannot be resolved amicably. The damage to my property exceeds the net rent achieved by BestGapp by a factor of 2-3x. Unregulated (until proven otherwise) Cowboys! Myself and my property were placed at virtually unlimited Risk through my misplaced Trust in BestGapp. I am also pending an explanation of why I was billed a rate >30% higher than that charged by the high-end cleaners used by The Grosvenor Estate for the pre-check-In Cleaning of my property by a small firm I had never heard of, especially when my property had been left in immaculate (mostly brand new) condition in the first place. In this context, highly suspicious!!

25th Oct 2019 (6 years ago)At first all was ok then when work had to be done to property the owner of Dixons sent her husband to do the work and it was poor. When we were leaving they rushed us out. Even though we paid rent on time and kept the flat very clean to the highest standard. During last winter we waited weeks for the boiler to be fixed. They held on to our deposit and now have to go to court.

From our first meeting to our last, he was very professional, patient, thoughtful, and most importantly, got things done in a way that fitted our needs. Very satisfied with the expertise and support he provided to us and would recommend him to anyone.

The flat wasn’t professionally cleaned as told prior, no inventory and trying to get in touch to resolve an issue seems impossible as your just passed to one person then the other with no solution. Really disheartening

Unprofessional, no communication skills, sneaky, loves telling lies, no care attitude until something needs sorting their end. Seems to magically forget or pretend to be unaware of rules and regulations. Do yourself a favour and stay as far away as possible from this place. How it still runs baffles me. Shocking is an understatement

She worked hard to show how it could look in a professional advisory stance. I was grateful to be listened to and helped along the way after residing here for over 30 years. I felt in safe hands with far superior help than the ‘pushy’ service I had from certain chain agents. As a single person of certain years, Charlotte Day Property looked after me. From the excellent photography and superb brochure - (and I can say I didn’t recognise my house as it was so good) Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and outstanding!

14th Aug 2025 (11 mo. ago)Harmens estate agents was defenetly the best estate agents in my 15 years in uk. I was theirs tenant for 3 years. In this 3 years, I had full support on everything. Like single mother, it s hard to find an agency who trust that you can be in time with all the payments ( even if you can afford it, they think you cannot)Harmens estate agents gave me an agreement like single mother, and more than that,they ve been there for me each time I needed. Always available, always solving quickly any problem appeared. Extremely friendly, professional and helpful each time I ve needed.
