Lewis had only just started at Winkworth when we put our house on the market but delivered great buyers for our house which is very special and important to us as we had loved there for over 27 years
16th Jul 2019 (6 years ago)They informed us about a change in our move-in date less than 12 hours before the original date of the move. The new date was pushed by two weeks. Therefore, as we had already switched all utilities to the new apartment, we had to survive without utilities in the old apartment for two weeks. Moreover, the estate agent we were in contact with was behaving in a very unprofessional and disrespectful way on the phone as we called him to explain the issues. He was shouting at us on the phone and blamed the situation on us, the clients. Furthermore, the agent did not inform us about other issues we faced regarding the move and when asked about it, he claimed to have been in contact with us regarding the problems, which was not true.

I had the misfortune of losing both of my parents in quick succession, which has led me to dealing with Anthony until only relatively recently. Not only is Anthony dedicated, reliable and personable, but he is clued up about the market expectations and pricing. He delivers without fail and goes above and beyond to help with a kind manner about him. I know why my parents chose him and I have utmost confidence in him as he made a stressful situation seamless.
9th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Rented via Prime a number of years ago - had an underwhelming experience. When it came to viewing and renting a property, everything was very efficient. However, during our rental, they were slow to fix an issue which arose in the property. Our boiler broke during winter and this took around 3 weeks for them to sort. The first engineers they sent had no idea what to do. This was during Covid times so maybe there is some excuse, but it still left us with cold water for a considerable amount of time. A different minor request was just ignored. Towards the end of our tenure, they asked one of us to be in the property so they could show new prospective tenants around. One time, they just didn't turn up - no notice/apology. Another time, a group of lads turned up to view the property without a Prime agent, so we just had to show them round. Very strange. Randomly once, an architect entered the property with his own keys and said he had been told the property was empty. Moving out was not seamless, with a dispute taking a couple of months to conclude. I would suggest reading your moving in inventory very carefully and challenging everything which isn't precisely accurate at the time. Overall, it seemed pretty clear from our experience and the other reviews that Prime do a great job managing properties for the landlord, but less so for the renter.
2nd Jun 2026 (17 days ago)We met Tommy Chalker a few months ago. He was very helpful in allowing us to see a property 3 times when we were not in a position to make an offer. By the time we did have an offer on our own house we had found another property which we liked equally. We knew Tommy had worked hard in getting the GJ property reduced to a price we could afford so it was disappointing that we opted for the other property. He was always, polite, efficient and accommodating. Excellent service! Many thanks Tommy and Garton Jones.

29th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)Pretty seamless purchase process with them. Viewings were quickly arranged, every question asked was answered, the entire process took much less than I anticipated. This agency is legit and Andrew, who I mostly dealt with, was a professional throughout.- 5th Aug 2013 (12 years ago)The worst agency I've encountered during my property search. Attempted to force me into meeting their financial adviser before they'd accepted my offer on a 'fictitious' property they were advertising. An illegal practice. Steer well clear, these jokers will claim you have to be on there 'pre-approved' buyers list before they show you anything and then hounded me for days. Absolute cowboys and a disgrace to the industry. Steer clear!

30th May 2026 (20 days ago)Believe the one star reviews and avoid this company. Just a cascade of lies and broken promises. Shutting branches early, promising then failing to call you. They cannot do the basics of customer management. Thank goodness I have not signed my sales contract yet and I can move it to a company that wants the business.
