13th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I felt very fortunate to work with Tom and Lewis from the outset, Tom is a fair minded individual who evaluates carefully his clients and their requirements and it pays off in the relationships he forms which is one of trust. Lewis had only just started at Winkworth when we put our house on the market but delivered great buyers for our house which is very special and important to us as we had loved there for over 27 years
16th Jul 2019 (7 years ago)They informed us about a change in our move-in date less than 12 hours before the original date of the move. The new date was pushed by two weeks. Therefore, as we had already switched all utilities to the new apartment, we had to survive without utilities in the old apartment for two weeks. Moreover, the estate agent we were in contact with was behaving in a very unprofessional and disrespectful way on the phone as we called him to explain the issues. He was shouting at us on the phone and blamed the situation on us, the clients. Furthermore, the agent did not inform us about other issues we faced regarding the move and when asked about it, he claimed to have been in contact with us regarding the problems, which was not true.

He was always friendly, professional, and available whenever we had questions or needed assistance. His communication was prompt and helpful, and we felt well supported throughout. Shannon listened to what we were looking for and showed us two amazing apartments, one of which was perfect and is now our home.<br><br>Once the offer was accepted I thought that would be it, but Shannon stayed in touch throughout, checking all was on track, chasing up answers and making sure everything went as smoothly as possible.<br><br>I'd highly recommend Shannon if you're looking for a home or investment property. She's amiable, professional, quick to respond and just SO good at her job! Thank you, Shannon.
2nd Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)We met Tommy Chalker a few months ago. He was very helpful in allowing us to see a property 3 times when we were not in a position to make an offer. By the time we did have an offer on our own house we had found another property which we liked equally. We knew Tommy had worked hard in getting the GJ property reduced to a price we could afford so it was disappointing that we opted for the other property. He was always, polite, efficient and accommodating. Excellent service! Many thanks Tommy and Garton Jones.

29th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)Pretty seamless purchase process with them. Viewings were quickly arranged, every question asked was answered, the entire process took much less than I anticipated. This agency is legit and Andrew, who I mostly dealt with, was a professional throughout.- 5th Aug 2013 (12 years ago)The worst agency I've encountered during my property search. Attempted to force me into meeting their financial adviser before they'd accepted my offer on a 'fictitious' property they were advertising. An illegal practice. Steer well clear, these jokers will claim you have to be on there 'pre-approved' buyers list before they show you anything and then hounded me for days. Absolute cowboys and a disgrace to the industry. Steer clear!

I saw the first flat just a few hours after I called him and he was able to show me three other flats right off the bat. Even when I changed the budget and proved to be very specific with the requirements, he always knew all the options and even shifted his schedule to accomodate me. He drove me around SW London and was always very knowledge and I could tell his genuine passion for his job. He was the most helpful agent out of all the agents I interacted with across many different agencies all across London.

26th Jun 2026 (20 days ago)We have now started renting out flat with Barnard Marcus Estate Agents and it has been an extremely smooth process.<br><br>Since the day we did the viewing it all went great, they have been extremely responsive with us and had great communication, specially with Rodrigo Varela who has guided us through the whole process, compared to other estate agents that just push you for your money Barnard Marcus has been the most empathetic with us.
